  1. We've gone to the outlets around 4-5am the last few years. By then, the stores are completely empty since they've been open since midnight. It doesn't start getting busy again until around 8am. We've not had any problem with stock or anything. A lot of the clothing stores are 50% off, plus you can generally stack additional % off or $$ off coupons on top of them (if you bring them from home beforehand - there aren't often printable ones outside of email).
  2. Williamsburg outlets - it was impossible to find a parking space at 11PM last year. We drove back by around 1 and it was still madness. We gave up and ended up going the next morning around 9 - sales were still in full swing and it was not crowded at all.

Yeah, it's not crowded at all at BRU. No lines right at open or anything. Most of the items I want at TRU tend to be among the few toys BRU also carries (the ad will specify).
  4. It worked last year at Williamsburg outlets.
  5. I have a few years in a row. It depends on how busy your particular location is...I have two within a mile of me. I go to the older/smaller one and am generally second/third in line 20-30 minutes before they opened. The other (bigger/nicer) one had a line of maybe a dozen people at that time.
  6. It's a one seater (same as they have every year I can remember)
  7. I'll be 3-4 wks pp this year, too...not going BF shopping this year. I'll be playing online, though, for sure! I've been whacked (and nearly knocked down) with enough shopping carts that I just don't think it's a good idea at all, especially post c-section. If the stores you're going to are less, uh, hostile than mine, then go for it! My area is a bit cutthroat, though.
  8. I went BF shopping at 39 weeks several years ago. It was fine - I didn't brave TRU right at store open (went at 10 when it was EMPTY), but I did go to WalMart right at the sale start - though the WM I went to wasn't one of the "crazy" ones. Aside from the standing in lines part, everything was fine. Standing was the hardest thing for me, by a long shot. I was just careful of the stores and times I picked - didn't go to the crazy stores right at opening time. Crowded is one thing, but getting trampled is quite another.
  9. I have one - WCX8733 - 15% off + free shipping on orders of $49+ (exp. Dec 8th) I'm signed up for the email newsletter and I've been getting completely free shipping codes every week or so for the last few weeks.
  10. I'm super curious about this, too. I have a coupon for a $10 GC for purchases over $100 that I got a few weeks ago - I'm wondering if they'd let me stack that on, too. That would be just .
  11. In years past, I've gone to TRU around 8 AM and it's pretty calm - it's after the mad doorbuster rush and before the "normal" shoppers get out to shop for the weekend. From what I recall, the checkout line was about 15-20 min. long at that time. That's what I'm planning to do this year - I want a few items that they have on sale, but they're not hot doorbuster items at all.
  12. I have never heard that before...I usually get my GC for my "earned" purchases and spend it immediately at the Starbucks kiosk on my way out of the store. "they said" doesn't mean a thing. [] I'd have just gotten into another line and checked out again...if the computer beeps at you, you'd know it can't be done the same day.
  13. I agree - WalMart has them every year for the lowest price. Though they are totally no-name brand ones, of course.
  14. I saw them for that price a few weeks ago at Costco - I don't know how newly reduced it is. But for sure a really good price!
