Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009

That is strange that they were limiting candy like that. I can tell you this, they are trying to delay entirely getting rid of Halloween because Christmas is not fully set up yet. At Target they frown against leaving aisles empty. If they empty those aisles right away then they will have to scrabble to find merchandise to fill there temporarily. Since they have scaled back on inventory from previous years, this will make it difficult. If an aisle is empty they will lose sales. Whenever they re-set a department, they have a time frame of when it has to be set up. Christmas should be fully set and decorated by either Thursday or Friday of this week. They also have not received the bulk of the Christmas merchandise from the DC. Some stores finish setting Christmas faster than others, it just depends on the team. The closer they are to finishing the faster Halloween candy will be marked to 50%,75% and maybe 90%. In the next few days the markdowns will progress very fast. So be on the lookout, because it will be gone before you know it! -

Found out the reason for the different price % from 30% to 50%. The stores who had tons of candy and didn't sell as much as other stores went immediately to 50% in order to get rid of the excess candy faster. While the stores who did good with candy sells only went to 30%, because of lighter inventory of candy. -

Thanks! I have inside knowledge and didn't want everyone to get too excited just yet! I will let everyone know the day before it gets marked down further. Which will probably be sometime near the end of the week! -

Lately my hiding place of choice has been my car's trunk. I am the only one with the key so it works perfectly. This is the extra car that sits in the driveway anyways. One year I got really creative and hid everything inside brown boxes, in the garage along with the other things. It worked like a charm, no one didn't suspect a thing. Another thing that I also do, my DS now 17 can guess what the item is before opening it. So now I wrap the smallest gifts for him in huge boxes and large gifts in even larger boxes. I have been able to throw him off for the past 4 years. Now he doesn't try to guess he just opens the gifts. Because he knows he won't figure it out prior to opening it.

If you are a Beatles fan you should get the Beatles rockband, but keep in mind it is only Beatles music. The others not too sure about. I do however have a suggestion. Why don't you look into DJ Hero, it is suppose to be one of the hottest video games this Christmas. I am going to buy it for my family. They all cost about the same. DJ Hero starts at $119.99 for the starter bundle and the premium one is $199.99. Hope this helps!!!:) -

The Pampers are cruisers size 3 and there are 116 in the box. On the box it also says Pampers stages, comfort flex. There is a picture of Elmo on everyside of the box. I thought they were baby dry. They also marked down the other sizes too, but they were already sold. -
I too bought Spike for my son when he was four. He played with him the first couple of weeks. Now he doesn't even think about playing with it at all. Last year I paid $129.00 and had 20% off in discounts. I see this year Spike is back but in red now!

Yes it is horrible! I had something similiar happen to me with a food scale. I bought it on clearance and someone switched it for a cheaper version. Luckily for me I didn't have any problems returning the item for a refund. If you do return them back to the store and they give you a hard time. You can ask management to check the store electronic journals records to see if that item was returned prior to you purchasing it within 90 days. That will be proof enough that you didn't do it because someone purchased it before you and returned it back to the store in that condition. Hope that helps!! -
I can tell you this, most stores are severly cutting back on their inventory. They don't want to be left with alot of holiday merchandise then have to take huge markdowns to make little profits. It use to be so much easier now everything is scarce.

Yes they will not sell it to you once it is recalled. They can also be sued if you or your family is hurt or injured from the recalled product. Also management is suppose to remove all recalled items before we are able to purchase them. I guest they missed that one! -

I started in July buying great deals as I saw them. I also loaded up at the Target toy clearance sale and scored some good stuff for hardly nothing. Some of the stuff I have stashed is a remote control car, magna doodle, RC racers cars, car race set, magnetix, some video games, karoake machine and more!! I could go on forever. Finished shopping for my nephew and 2 nieces and about 50% done for my kids. still looking for DH and other family members! -

Hello everyone! I am a newbie here and have been reading all the posts for about a month before I actually requested access. Yesterday I bought the Aussie grill for $69.99 in the box. The original price is $279.99. I was so excited that I got a great deal. I bought for my DH who mentioned that he would like a propane grill after we rented a house during vacation this summer. The house had a propane grill and he loved it, right now we have charcoal one. His birthday is Sunday and I wanted to surprise him. The hard part is trying to hide this huge box until Sunday, LOL. The DPCI for the grill is 009-07-0240.
