  1. If anyone is looking for these they are in the Kmart ad for this week. $49.99. My son didn't want one but we picked one up for our cousins little girl. Our Kmart didn't have any, so they offered us a raincheck or they could call a nearby Kmart and have them hold them. So, we had one held and went and got it. Alot better than $99
  2. I did take the TRU ad to Target first thing this morning and they did price match the ad, so with the $10 off Target coupon I bought two of the Alphabet Pal. Cost me $1.03 with tax!
  3. I have 3 kids. DS is 10, DD is 7 and DD is 14 months. I have been lucky enough to ever have to take them out as infants, which I don't think in my case I would have done. DD(7) would love to go, but to be honest she is not the type of child to take. She is high strung, and very impatient. 10 minutes into waiting in line she would be done. She is also one that you have to watch every second because she gets absorbed into whatever she is doing and walk off her own way. Now, DS is a completely different story. Last year was the year that he figured out there was no Santa. To kind of make up for finding out, my mother and I allowed him to go to BF with us. He is super mellow, very go with the flow. He is an excellent kid. He loves all the hustle and bustle, he gets into the hunt. He is like this with yard sales and consignment sales to. He loves a clearance sale, what can I say, he is his mothers son lol. I think it really just depends on the child.
  4. I called TRU about this earlier. The $20 gift card if you buy COD is for Rewards Members as a bonus. But at the top of the ad it also states if you buy one of the games on the page you get a $10 gift card. I asked TRU if that means that since I am a Rewards Member that I get the $20 for buying the game and the $10 for buying the game, they stated that is the way they understand it to be. So if you go there and buy the game and are a Rewards Member they are saying that you would get a total of $30 in gift cards. I hope they know what they are talking about.
  5. I am not interested in the Monsters Inc movie. But, the TRU ad shows up for sale tomorrow for $15.99 so if the Disney coupon is for $10 off I will be heading to TRU to pick up a few copies for $5.99
  6. There is a $5 coupon from Target, you can print it online. But, it only works with some systems. We have Windows 7 on our new laptop and we can't print it, but our sons laptop has XP so I print it from his. Target website has a link.
  7. Tons and tons of candy at 75% at Winchester, Va Target today. I got a ton for 74 cents a piece. Also got some little Halloween games and Halloween Pixos to put back for next year, and the little tiny Barbie kids, got a bunch of those as well.
  8. All of our Walmarts are 24 hour as well. We did this sale last year to pick up my sons laptop. We got there at 5:30 and we were about 4th in line at the electronics counter. Everyone formed a line behind us. Then at 8am the people pulled a pallet out and brought it to the electronics counter and handed them out as people paid for them, they did this with the TVs too. I will tell you that my mother is picking up the laptop for my niece, she called both our local walmarts and they did tell her how many they had. Maybe they will do that for the TVs too. One of our Walmarts has 51 laptops the other had 22. And last year they had a limit of one item per person, the lady in front of us needed two, so she had my husband use her debit card to buy her second one.
  9. Just came back from Target in Martinsburg WV. All Halloween candy still 50%, but everything else is 75%. I got 4 of the big tall tin Jack-o-lantern face luminaries for $3.47 a piece. Also got the big Skeleton animal things (the stuffed ones) for $3.47 originally $14.99. They will look cool in her room, and I got off cheap for a Christmas present.
  10. Our Target had a travel system in their ad this week. It's Graco but I can't remember exactly what model. The carseat/stroller combo is on sale for $99 which I thought was a heck of a deal.
  11. Last year my son admitted that he didn't believe in Santa. To still keep Christmas special for him my mother and I took him with us shopping on BF. We were at Walmart really early standing in an aisle adjacent to the main aisle where the tvs were kept. Being friendly people we strike up conversations and start talking to an elderly lady. Well the rope drops, people start running and I can't find my son. Imagine how proud I was when I see my 10 year old 64 pounds of stick thin nothing son struggling with a tv. He felt bad for the elderly lady we were talking to and had decided it was his mission to make sure she got a tv. It was such a sweet sight and we are still very proud of him.
  12. I never seem to have any luck with deals like you all find at our local stores. The only thing I have ever been able to find was one of the inflatable Banzai slides for $92. Now granted I was tickled to death with that one, but I want more! lol:D
  13. Oh my goodness, someone actually from my area. We are in Bunker Hill, WV and we do all our shopping in Winchester.
