  1. Sending DH down there now. The only thing that I really wanted was the little mommy doll set. I am trying to start being better about my spending lol, so I sent him. If I would walk in there I would walk out with a cart full of stuff I don't really need. He will come out with only that one item lmao.
  2. I stopped at the newer one at Rutherford Crossing. I have never had real great luck at the older one in town. I live in Bunker Hill, so today I will ride up to the one in Martinsburg, WV. They always seem to have a ton of stuff left when no one else has anything.
  3. Stopped at a Winchester, Va store last night. Everything still 50% and super cleaned out too. Nothing left in the way of candy, very few of the stocking stuffer type toys, lots of cards, no paper etc. I will say though, there are a freaking ton of trees left. I don't think I have ever seen so many trees at the store. They span the back wall across probably 4 or 5 aisles, packed tight top to bottom.
  4. Went to the Front Royal, Va Target yesterday. Not at all one of my normal stores, but I glad I went way out of my way. I got several Moxie girl dolls for $3.58, a Liv doll set (mall set I think) for $4.xx, a Barbie set that has dresses that you decorate $4.xx. For those that are looking they had two really good deals there though. They had one red electric Razor scooter for $64.xx and they had one of the big inflatable water slides (dual slides on this one) for $64.xx I paid $94 for my slide last year on clearance, wish I could have gotten a deal like this one. Thought about buying it but DH would have killed me since we already have 2 lol.
  5. Have been to all 3 stores within driving distance. At all 3 stores (both Winchester VA stores and the Martinsburg WV store) all the clearance legos were pretty much wiped out. I did score at all 3 stores in the summer/july 4th clearance though. I got 2 of the really nice big lined picnic baskets for $7 a piece, and the oversized picnic blankets for $7. Then I racked up on the plastic cups, plates, the pretty napkins etc. All of which are going into the picnic baskets along with the picnic blankets and put back for really cool picnic sets for Christmas presents. I also picked up a Step 2 water table for 50%. I would have rather waited for 75% but there was only one. There were several of the Step 2 sand and water tables, and the Step 2 foldable picnic tables as well.
  6. Just got back from our store. Got lots of pj's for all 3 kids. Also was loving the fact that I got them a ton of jeans for $5 a piece basically after 50% off. Our store still had tons and tons of everything!
  7. We have two Targets in Winchester Va, but I only went to one. I was so disappointed at what was left first thing this morning that I didn't even want to go to the other store. Not hardly anything left. I picked up a few things, but nothing compared to what I normally walk out with. Ended up going to Walmart and racking up on Easter goodies including a ton of Wilton items.
  8. Ours were down to $4.47 today, there were 4 of them on the shelf and I took two.
  9. I know all Walmarts are different, but thought this was worth mentioning. I used the Hasbro coupons to buy the Monopoly card games at my Target this morning. They were the ones that had the $5 coupons in them. I used those coupons to buy the Pictureka flipper game which was on clearance for $4.77. Then when I went to Walmart for groceries I noticed they had Sorry Revenge card game and some others that Target didn't have. Walmart had Monopoly Deal, Scrabble Slam, Pictureka, and Sorry Revenge on sale for $4 then when they rang them up I took out the $5 coupons (the box says "use now" not "for later purchase") and got all my card games for free.
  10. One of our Targets had the D Rex when I was there last week. But they only had two so I wasn't holding my breath that they would still be there this week for 75% off. I will have to run to our Walmarts tomorrow and hope that they have atleast one. I would prefer to find two, but I am not gonna hold my breath.
  11. I spoke to our store this morning, and they hit 50% this morning. We were just there last night and it was still all 30% so I know the girl is right. I didn't pay attention to a whole lot last night, so I am getting ready to head out now and see what I can find. There might be a few things that I just don't want to pass up at 50%.
  12. I saw one of the Dora links set, I wanna say it was a kitchen or cafeteria set but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention. Are you looking for something in particular
  13. So, is the consensus that the toys won't go 75% until next week? Or does everyone truly believe it will be tomorrow? I meant to mention when I posted earlier, when I was at Target today they moved two huge flatbeds out of the back completely piled with toys and on the ends were signs that said "Do Not BackLog these items, they will be stocked on another aisle." I pulled two items off the top of one of them, they were two little christmas stocking stuffer toys. So, both of them were right at the back of electronics, which is right across from toys. Any idea what they were?
  14. Went to one of the Winchester Va targets. Nothing really left in the Christmas section at 90% except for 1 tree and a few stockings. Our toys are mostly 30%, but they had a very small handful of things that were 50%. There was alot of action going on in the toy dept by workers though. They were scanning things in all the toy aisles and adding a few clearance stickers here and there. There are tons and tons of Christmas pjs in the baby and toddler section. I got a few in the xmas aisle when they went 75% to put back for my sister who is due with my nephew in May. But all the ones in the regular clothing section are only 30% off, it was aggravating. We have a Target about 15 minutes away in Martinsburg WV and their toy clearance aisle were much better, so I am gonna hit them in the morning.
  15. I have been to all 3 Targets within driving distance over the past two days. The two Targets in Winchester Va when I went the other day didn't have much left at 75%. I did buy a ton of the reed diffusers, the pop up bbq sets, the coffee mugs that plug into the car lighters and tons of that type of stuff. Then I went to the one in Martinsburg WV last night and got two of the 3 foot trees (for my kids rooms) let them pick out tons of ornaments. And that particular store had a bunch of the stocking stuffer type things left, so I loaded up on them. I now have 5 lawn and garden garbage bags full of stuff to go into the attic for next xmas lol. They had all the toys consolidated into aisles at 30% off, and there were tons of toys. I will look at 50% off, but hope to get good deals at 90%.
  16. I am heading to target shortly and was going to take the playskool (hasbro) coupons with me, I registered and then hit where it says it links to $75 worth of coupons, but there are none there. Anyone else had a problem today with that?
  17. Secret Saturday is a show on Cartoon Network. So the coupons are for those toys associated with the show.
  18. I bought halloween candy from Target when it went 75% off for this very reason. I just made sure the wrappers didn't look like halloween stuff
  19. I just finished up with my childrens teachers. Because I am at the schools volunteering quite a bit, I have made small talk with them since the beginning of the year. I have brought up topics running across the board. This years theme for their gift baskets is "Favorite things." So, for DD's teacher she got DD hazelnut coffee, a bunch of the hazelnut creamers, chocolate, twizzlers, a big Paula Dean candle, 2 movies (bought BF), a gift card to a local movie theater, dipped chocolate spoons for her coffee, some little tiny samples of different coffees ($1 bin at Target) and a Paula Dean cookbook. DS's teacher is getting a basket with tons of dark chocolate, lots and lots of gum, her favorite scented candle, 2 movies, fortune cookies (she loves them), hot chocolate mix, a gift card to Olive Garden, and a gift card to the Dollar Tree for classroom supplies. It hasn't been bad money wise, because as I found out something they specifically liked I have picked it up a little at a time. I am hoping they will like the baskets, since it is full of the stuff they mentioned that was their favorite. The ladies that work in the office at the schools are sugar-a-holics so they are getting cookies, and a snickerdoodle bundt cake. I know they will eat them. And I search all year for nice serving platters and such, so then the girls in the office will each get to take home a nice serving platter when the snacks are gone.
  20. I found the SkullCandy cases at Target, back in electronics in the clearance section. I paid $6.48 for both, got a gray and black one for DH, and a red and black one for DS. My DH has had several cases for his and this is the only one that he liked. So, when I saw them on clearance again I picked one up for DS, perfect stocking stuffer to go with his ipod. Here is what it looks like http://www.target.com/Skullcandy-Infantry-Touch-Case-SCTSBZ-06/dp/B00252Y5CK
  21. You can't use a regular hamster ball. The ball made for zzp's has a little stabilizer piece that clicks in on the inside of the ball. It is the piece that keeps the hamster from rolling over, keeps it upright. If you put a zzp in a regular ball, it is just going to fall over.

    Fur Real Pony

Our TRU handed out tickets before opening for the pony. They only had twenty and they went about 150 people back thru the line before they even got rid of half of them. When we left at 12:30am they still had the tickets for the pony.
  23. We bought 3 of them first thing in the morning at 5am. Then at about 2pm I had to run back into Walmart and they still had about 20 of them on a pallet in the main aisle.
  24. I did better than just the $7 games. We were at Walmart by 12:45 after leaving TRU. We staked ourselves out where they told us the games were after picking up other items. We stood there from about 1:30 until they pulled the plastic off at 4:45am. All night long the associates kept saying the pallet in front of us on the left were the $10 games and the pallet on the right of us were the $7 games. We heard them tell several people that the pallet with the $25 games were in the front of the store. Plastic comes off and we all start grabbing. We ended up with about 30 games in our cart from just grabbing (there were 4 of us). We went thru what we had, picked out what we each wanted and put the rest back. We noticed that the games had different color dots on them, green blue and orange. I pulled COD 4 off the pallet where the $10 games were and was confused because I knew it was supposed to be $25. Anyway they rang up $25 and we spoke to a manager and he had all our games adjusted down to $10. So I got COD 4 for the 360, Wii My Sims Agent, Wii Pajama Party up for the 360 and UP for the wii all for $10 a piece instead of $25. It totally made my night. Most of the $7 games were for the playstation 2, but I did get 2 DS games for $7
  25. I am a smoker too. Everytime we go in for a secret sale or BF, we have two of us in line. That way I can walk away and smoke. I would say that in my opinion no one is going to let you back in line after you walk out to smoke. Most people would see that as an opportunity to get one space closer to getting what they want.
