  2. I did the happy dance all the way through Target today. It was like a clearance mania. I managed to score my first 4 packs of MP Apple Juice for .59 each. I have yet to come across the MM but was just as thrilled about these. I also managed to come across some Energizer battery chargers with batteries included. Regular $23.99 but scanning $5.98. They were on the hooks with the new models and didn't have a red sticker, however, they did have a different barcode. Got some ziploc freezer bags on clearance and also some biolage shampoo. I could have gone nuts with the aisles of clearance there. Can't wait to check back next week to see whats left.
  3. Voted.. Lots of luck. I also tried to get that houseparty but wasn't so successful. I am sure you will have a blast!!!!!! Meanwhile, I'll be sure to send in another vote tomorrow after I drop the kiddos off at school, then I can use my moms computer.. BEST OF LUCK!
  4. Voted.... Good Luck!! You're almost there.
  5. Actually they rang up $16.99 but I noticed it on the spot. There was a whole peg of these some with batteries some without. I bet someone messed up the pricing!
  6. Went to Target today and was lucky enough to catch the electronics section mid markdown. I got a PS3 blu-ray bundle it had a Blu-ray movie (I got transporter 2), an HDMI cable, and a PS3 blu-ray remote. Original price $49.99 got it for $12.49. Also got a Belkin Slim-Line surge protector with 8 outlet plugs regular $29.99 got it for 7.99. Got 2 energizer Nimh battery chargers and each included 4 Nimh batteries. Regular $23.99 for $2.49 (yes $2.49). Found a leftover Easter Pixo-o at 90% off. They had a Linksys wireless G adapter marked down to $12.49 from $49.99 which I didn't get. There were so many new things marked down, they had 4 endcaps FULL. Still hunting for these (supposed:cheesy:) MM packs. Been searching for months.
  7. It was the Matteson location. I live closer to Bourbonnais but was passing through Matteson and there were very few cars in the lot so I figured I would check it out. I only found one though. If I happen to come across another somewhere I'll keep ya in mind!
  8. Just got back from Target (suburbs of Chicago) and they had everything at 75% off. I got a really nice cook book called "kids treats". It has a picture on the front of easter cakes, but there are 224 spiral bound pages of treats for every occasion. Came out to $2.24. I got a MLP, LPS, and Disney princess easter set for DD7. Also got a hubba bubba pez like dispenser and a tube of barrets and hair ties. Scored a bag of regular hersheys kisses in easter colors and a bubble set. They had spongebob matchbox cars and color changing ones, but DS10 isn't interested in those anymore so I left them. They had tons of table linens, easter socks, dish towels, cake pans, plastic eggs, egg coloring kits, chocolate bunnies, stuffed bunnies, pixos sets, rubix cube keychains, several sets of 6 pack disney eggs filled with disney keychains, and on and on and on. Wonder if there will be much left for the 90% off sale. I might have to go back!
  9. i just saw an Aerogarden at my local Target. Anyone have any insight on these things. I was wondering if you can transplant the flowers in the spring to pots? It was clearanced half off to $49.98 I am hopin it gets cheaper!
  10. I purchased my rug doctor directly through their website. It came with a big box of cleaners. I used the flex pay as well. I paid $60 bucks a month til it was paid off. If the big upfront cost is an issue thats really the only way around it. They aren't gettin any cheaper and its been 2 years since I bought mine!
  11. I doubt it will work if you are exchanging for a different game. In my case it was the exact same shoes just 1 size bigger. Same barcode.. Different games will have different UPC's.
  12. The barcode is exactly the same. The size is irrelevant. It doesn't ring up as girls size 10 barbie shoes.. Its just Barbie shoes. Besides, they don't scan the receipt and the shoes. They scan the shoes and use the receipt only for verification of the description. Bottom line... I paid cash at the register for the new shoes... walked right over to returns and got cash back for the small ones!!!!!!!
  13. I recently went to walmart to exchange some shoes that my mom bought for my daughter. The shoes were not worn and still had tags and everything. I needed a larger size! Since my mom bought them, I did not have a receipt with me. They would not allow me to exchange them. They told me no receipt means absolutely no taking back the product. I was furious. The supervisor gave me the same response. I took it upon myself to go back and purchase the shoes in the bigger size. I left the cashier and walked right up to returns to get money back for the smaller ones with the new receipt. The woman at the returns counter grumbled about it but really had no ground to stand on at that point. I had a receipt!!!! Their customer service has hit rock bottom!
  14. I actually just had this same battle with myself and did lots of research. I went to several different electronics stores in my area and spoke with my sister-in-law (who happens to work in this department at one of the stores). Each rep told me that I should go with the plain old MP3 player vs. the IPOD. I ended up with the Sansa Fuze 8GB MP3 player. I absolutely love it. Here are some of the things that the Sansa Fuze and Other MP3 players offer that the IPOD doesn't. The MP3 player has built in FM radio, for IPOD you have to purchase a seperate device (around $50). The Fuze has expandable memory. This means that if you run out of room, you can pop a microSD card into the side of the unit and have lots more memory. Its relatively inexpensive to buy those cards. IPOD is not expandable. You get what you buy in the beginning and thats it. You can download songs to your MP3 player from pretty much any music website, you have to use Itunes to get songs on your IPOD. At 99 cents a song it can get pricey. The MP3 player also has a built in voice recorder. It may not matter to some people, but it is a perk. Basically they work the same way. In my opinion (and the reps at the stores) you are paying for the name. I think the MP3 player is a much better choice, however, I am sure there are plenty of IPOD users out there that disagree. I have a rather expansive music collection and take this with me everywhere, I couldn't be happier. Hope this helps!
