Check out dell.com theyve got 1525 inspirons starting at 449. Those specs are perfect upgrade the ram to 2 gb at least, thats all you need. I use mine every day, its perfect! I have bought dell for years due to their reliability and service. I am wary of the deals from the big box stores or random online sites, their service is awful and the support for computers is terrible! Unless there is a specific issue you have with vista-its no big deal. I use it and honestly have no problems-its not too much different than xp to me. If you use a laptop for normal surfing, etc. you will be happy with this computer! Dont settle on a computer for the price-check out the reviews on 1525s online. they are like the honda civic of computers. their outlet is good too, and items are like new..

i know you said "new' but have you thought about a newer used set? check out your local craigslist. You might be able to buy a fancier set than you would otherwise be able to afford. ask about brand and models/check online for specs/ratings. I have found that due to the recession many families are moving and selling very new appliances for less than half. it might help them out to boot!

if you are looking to go cheap-o i would recommend the walgreens refill, but i do have to say i have seen that it doesnt last as long as a brand new one. I have seen them at the warehouse club for pretty cheap. I would suggest checking the sunday flyers for the best deal on any certain week, prices are pretty competitive.

If you have a tuesday morning store near you i would say try it! if you arent familiar check their website for locations. They are sort of like a marshalls tj maxx but only housewares, sheets, luggage. I love it and they do carry high-end small electrics like cuisinart and le cruset. I dont think they are returns or defective. I have had no problems with thier return policy..i like the keurig myself.

this might be obvious to some of you frequent shoppers, but if your total before any discounts is over 100 you can use both discounts, the free ship and 20%, but what i didnt realize is the free shipping is calculated on the pre-discount code price, so you can spend 100, get free shipping automatically, then use the discount code and only pay 80. i was thinking it had to be 0ver 100 after the 20% off. I got loads of stuff for 80 dollars, and the code works for 77kids, aerie, and ae. clearance too. i just wanted to mention this, bec if you were going to spend only around 80 its worth it to spend 20 more and get it free basically.
