  1. wow, i placed 3 orders using the budding discount and all three went through, and never recieved any comment about only being useable once..i did use different credit cards for all three, through paypal.i wonder if that made a difference? as for the free shipping on outlet items, if you find a promo code that works, i did buy outlet items with the promo and it worked. Hold off for a promo code i say! even if it doesnt come out free ship, you might get a discount equal to or greater than the shiiping.
  2. do you have a metropcs in your area? boost mobile is also a new service with no contract. we have been very happy with metro-month to month with no contract, unlimited minutes etc. they even have a family plan for up to 5 phones. i have had no coverage issues, but they arent available everywhere yet. you do buy the phone up front, but you get your first month of service free. check out the website for details. HTH
  3. have you gone to birthday express site? i used to get the catalogs all the time, they seem to have the most selection of themes. Do you have a decent party store near you? weve got a few chains and a locally based store that we love, they have books full of supplies you can order, if they dont have what you are looking for. Try oriental trading for things too.
  4. i was at the saint cloud home depot (orlando area). i also got bags of cypress mulch for 1.68 and a big bag of soil for 1.10 or something similar...my cart was totally loaded with stuff and it only ended up costing 14 dollars. i was very happy! yea, they were the fairly common annuals, but they were in good shape and always do very well for me in florida for the whole spring summer fall time.
  5. Im not sure if this is a chain wide or area wide deal, but i was browsing my local orlando area home depot garden section and theyve got assorted annuals for 33 cents each. they are marked down from .99cents. a great deal if youre planning on buying a whole bunch to fill an area... we had lots of selection to choose from..
  6. does anyone have a discount code useable now? I want to do the 100 free ship but i would like to use a code too, usually there are several out there....i cant find any now.
  7. i know i have seen them at one time in WM-like the character ones etc. Look in the section where theyve got furniture, lamps etc. I got my kids two in Target, theyve got nicer looking ones, we got a red one and white with pink dots. they were like 18 dollars ea-the fabric is like a canvas and they are filled with i think styrafoam peanuts. ours havent torn and they look great. one thing i noticed is they are starting to lose some size as the peanuts get squished down, but there is a zipper on the side im going to open and fill it up a bit at some point.
  8. i bought this the other day for my son-i didnt even notice it was for a laptop-hopefully its good quality! FYI it is sort of backordered-it says transfer,in stock..meaning it wont ship right away.
  9. recieved my order today and im really happy with everything i got! im not sure if this promo is still going on, but i got 14 different items for 18 dollars shipped!
  10. i also wanted to note that if you sign up for that jcp rewards you get an instant use coupon for 5.oo off which can be used with the 10.00 off. i got two polos for my daughters uniforms from the american living collection for 4.98 plus ship.
  11. i think it means that they are selling by the unit, which they do a lot. A unit in this case does appear to consist of 2 outfits. Cant say for sure because i didnt look at the site. Sometimes you have to look to see how they are selling the item- by piece or unit. Ive ordered from them before and they usually specify on the page how many come in one "unit"..its good to get the paper catalog to see specifics IMO. Basically think of them as a warehouse selling in bulk.
  12. ive been eyeing the one clearance end cap we have at the back of the store, and i remember seeing this two pack of bodywash and lotion, big bottles in a plastic gift pack, well the section finally went 75 off, and i decided to pick up this set finally- i know its been there a while, the packaging is ratty, im assuming its from christmastime..it rang up full price and when i told the checker i got it in the 75 off he said, oh no, these are new-we just got them in! i knew that wasnt true, but what can you do..the price scanner actaully said "mothers day gift set" . Im thinking-maybe mothers day last year! the only thing i can think of that happens is that they dont change the sku numbers from season to season on certain items, that way whatever doesnt get clearanced out just goes back to full price after a certain amount of time when they get a new stock in. retarded in my opinion, nobody would give that set as a gift!
  13. i just cannot believe this store is still in business. I guess they have their place, in places where there are no other stores locally, but honestly, i look in the flyer and things look kinda cute, some of the furniture looks decent-then ive gone to the store-and ewwww. its so ugly, strange lighting-no thought to making it look nice..i havent been there in probably 5 years. the items in store are not as nice, they have nothing in stock-no logical footprint..i dont want to upset anyone who shops there, but i think its time to go.
  14. hmm. i have also ordered many things from dell online, never had an order problem either. not to say it doesnt happen, but thier customer service is quite good.
  15. im not sure about that good of a deal, but do you have a joanne superstore near you? last time i went they were discounting all the fleece material for the season and had it for about 60 percent off-so about 2.99 a yard. maybe
  16. I really have had a good experience with the bissel cleanview bagless. My mom has always been notoriously hard on vacuums, so my father did lots of research (nerd!) and found this one recommended by consumer reports. I inherited it, actually when they moved and i really like it. I like the fact that its very easy to keep clean, and there isnt anywhere for clogs to hide where you cant get them. I can easily tell when ive clogged it, and i just remove the hose and can see straight into the empty chamber. I know they sell them in target and they arent very expensive-about 75 dollars, plus they sell all the belts, extra filters and etc. Arm and hammer makes some good filters for this that remove any pet hair smell and help with allergies.
  17. today american eagle and 77kids have free shipping on everything, with no code needed. maybe somebody has a discount code we can use on top of it.
  18. ooh they opened our ikea last year and they do have opening specials, im sure you will get stuff in the mail, and they have doorbusters for the first few days. I think the first 100 people in line got a chair or something, and they had other prizes. i think they offer specials quite often like free breakfasts..
  19. we shop at our local tractor supply store, theyve also got a great sale at sheplers.com. I recommend trying boots on tho before you buy. If you are in an area with horses, they most likely have a supply shop where you can buy boots.
  20. depending on her age, you might be able to get her into a womens smaller size-a few of my friends with plus sized children have done that. Our local target stocks bathing suits all year long. i think its just one of those things you have to try on lots of suits to find the rightone. I did see that oldnavy.com has bathing suits in their plus sized kids section and they are on sale. i would probably suggest just buying a few and return the ones to the local store, that dont work out. gap.com has 3 one piece suits in their plus section as well. they are cute!
  21. this is just a shot in the dark, but our local library has the whole rosetta stone program available for free online. If you are a member, go to your library's online site or ask your librarian. I really enjoy it. not all library systems have it, our county doesnt but the county right near us does so i joined there. its worth searching around if you save the money of buying the program, and you get every language.
  22. Sorels are the way to go for little kids snow boots. We always wore them as kids. We always got the classic Caribou style, theyve got more styles now but the caribous have removeable "sock" inside they always kept us dry and so oo warm . we passed these down from kid to kid they were so durable. If you buy cheap boots they just wont last, and they leak. You can usually find sorels on ebay. Even a used pair should last forever. Check out their website for styles and specs, then buy them cheaper elsewhere. They are worth every penny.
  23. i guess its online for me until any swaps. of course i tried target, kohls etc. They have nothing, i even went to walmart and they dont have any. they had a sale a few weeks ago at target, but by the time i got there all the pants and tops were gone. i wish the stores in our area would get a brain. every school in our county requires the uniforms and they are woefully understocked.
  24. Im looking for good deals on boys size 12 and girls size 7 polos, khakis and general uniform gear for an excellent price..i think paying 20 bucks for every polo and 30 for kids pants is insanity, but they are nearly that much in most stores.. They stopped selling them in our local stores the week after school started and i am SOL.
