  1. We get everything from Evike.com, great prices and plenty of accessories. Also Crosman.com as well.
  2. I will throw my 2 cents into the mix, my kids started off on a 50 and 90 cc Yamaha Raptor and had absolutely no problems with them. Im with some of the other folks here and advising to look on eBay (you can narrow a search to say 100 miles of your location and price range) as well as Craigslist. Its sad to say that there are some great bargins out there due to the economy and people having to sell what are considered "toys" or recreational items.
  3. Just a quick word of warning on the Apads (Android tablets)...pay particular attention to the version of Android that the tablet has. Most of the very inexpensive ones are running 1.5 or 1.6 versus the newer 2.1 and 2.2. From my understanding you are limited in the Android Market as to what apps you can download if you run an older version. Also, from some quick searching to upgrade from 1.6 to 2.1 is VERY involved and not recommended unless you have a high skill level.
  4. Morning all.....any new codes, totally forgot that SHARE expired 12/14....thanks in advance
  5. code has expired, any new discount codes for December?
  6. The best advice I can give you is to NOT base your purchase on people talking on a forum. What looks good to me is probably different than what looks good to you. I have had my Sammy 50" plasma professionally calibrated and I tweaked it from there. Im an avid member of AVS forum. A lot of this talk "blacker blacks", brightness, etc. is very subjective. Do some research on the tv's you are interested in, CNet is a good source for what I would consider unbiased info. The easiest thing you can do is go into your local retailer and compare the tv's side by side and buy what you like and looks good to you. The last thing you want to do is buy something based on what someone recommended in a post on GD and then be unhappy.....
  7. ^^ Umm yeah, please elaborate on your "plasma's are bad and being phased out". Funny, generally speaking of course, plasma's have blacker blacks and whiter whites than any LCD, I can view a plasma clearly once off axis to them unlike LCD's and most have a better contrast ratio than any LCD. I personally own 2 plasma's, a Sammy 50" 1080p and a Kuro. Maybe you should read the reviews of both of them and compare to any LCD on the market and you will be suprised on how bad plasmas are (??). Its blanket statements like that totally turn me off to even posting in some of these threads. Maybe you should research before you make unfounded claims and mislead people that truly are looking for advice.....
  8. http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Televisions/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A2612466 Its actually down to 649 now as its on Dell's 48 hour sale, you will see price once you add to cart
  9. Dell has a 50" Panny Plasma 720p for 669 free ship which is an awesome deal!
  10. Thought I would chime in on the netbooks.....honestly when netbooks first came out they had screens of 8" and then 9" with a 2 or 4 GB ssd hard drive, Linux and not much else. Since you cant find any 8's or 9's anymore the trend is 10" screens which Im sure are going away soon hence the sales on the Aspire Ones in the sub-$200 price range. I think some are forgetting these arent replacements for a full blown laptop but rather checking email, etc. I have a Dell Mini 10 and my wife and kids all have Acers and they love 'em. I paid $300 for my Mini and upwards of $350 for each Acer. The Officemax BF ad that was pulled had an Acer w/XP home, 160 GB hard drive and 1 GB ram for $149 which is a steal. Look folks all the configurations of the netbooks currently out there are the same or very similiar...except that one off one at Kmart running CE which I would avoid (like the majority that have posted).
  11. Honestly back in August and September there were plenty of Zhu Zhu Pets around also but now you cant get one. The New Moon movie comes out 11/20 and Im sure these are going to be a lot harder to find. As of yesterday Amazon was already sold out of the Bella and their "selling partners" were selling them at $40-50+. Take a look a Ebay completed listings for these dolls and you will find the same thing.....
  12. Their website seems to be down for the past couple hours.....
  13. I couldnt find the 2 day sale ad either, there is an ad/notice on the main homepage but no detailed ad
  14. yeah, I received the "item back in stock" email @ 8:20 am central x this morning and went to TRU website immed and it was out of stock.....
  15. ^^ +1, pick up the phone and call them
  16. The yellow/red/white cables are simply RCA cables, one for video and 2 for audio. Depending on how old the DVD player is you can use these or for a better connection (and if your DVD has the outputs) would be a component cable.
  17. Most plasma's have an anti-glare and/or anit-reflective screen. I have a Pioneer Kuro plasma and love it. To answer your question, the best BF deal IMO is the 46" Sony LCD @ CC, sale ends today (is a doorbuster deal) and is $1299. Its 1080P w/120 refresh rate, Sony is selling this exact tv for $2000.
  18. the paypal specials are on the main Buy.com site, there are like 29 PP only deals....
  19. Ahh, another know it all. CNet, AVS Forum, all the other reviews and reviewers are wrong but you. Im glad you have worked w/Plasmas since they have been out. Hmm, I have a Kuro and I can tell you my son games often and there is no burn in whatsoever. I guess the people on this forum should listen to you instead of the industry experts. Yeah, I'll take my chances w/an expert that is paid by the manufacturers....just like the politicians. Geesh.....
  20. Well, like I said research is your friend. Lets see, some of the differences between the 400 and 450 are contrast ratio, inputs, etc and the biggie, the 400 is last years model. I agree they are both 720P's but take a look at some of the AVS forums and you'll come to find out that their are issues w/the 400 (which is a repackaged 2007 model). Honestly, do you think your really getting a 1500-2000 plasma for 800?
  21. Same here, ordered 10+ times over this past year from small items to a couple hundred $ and never an issue.
  22. This Sammy A400 is last years model, hence the discount. Spend the extra hundred or 2 and get the A450 which Newegg has for 1029.00 (much better than the 1199 @ CC and 1299 @ BB). Also, new plasma tv's arent prone to burn in as one person stated. Maybe back a couple years ago they were but its relatively non existent today (unless you buy an off brand like Vizio, etc). Research and you will find this is true. Also, IMO LCD's have a limited viewing area, get off axis to the tv and the screen blurs, plasma's do not do this. LCD's have a hard time displaying deep blacks where as plasma's are much better at this as well. Just do some research before buying any TV and attempt to get independant info from like CNet or similar. You have to be careful about what you read in these threads.
