I love our Wii. The hubby and I bought it back in May for $249, and now they are $199 (grrrrrrr! lol) but it was definitely a worthy purchase for us. We use it, nieces nephews use it...it was worth it. I shop a lot at game stop too for used games since sometimes** you can find some good deals. (but sometimes you can pay like 2 bucks more for the same game new?)

Question, I printed the LeapFrog Q's (TQ and MQ) and they say you can't combine them?? They had a MQ for $5 off the junior...could I use the $10 instead? They "say" you can't combine them but most of you guys have....so I'm guessing you can??? I'm new to couponing and I haven't ever combined coupons....

MuggleMom - I think that the TRU deals might be better once averaged out. I didn't hit TRU till late last year since they changed the way they do it and the line was forever long (they were only letting X amount of ppl in at a time) Anyway once split the free one it might be worth it! I like the return idea...I didn't really think of doing that with games...I do it with shoes LMAO

Last year they were great at walmart. I ended up doing the 2 for 40 deal online since I missed out on it. They were like $12 BF for the games I wanted (Princess game, and star war games). I'm hoping this year since pricing has came down a little on Wii products throughout the year that it will be even better this year. Here's to hoping!!

I'm not pregnant as of yet...but we have been going thru fertility treatments for a while, and I'm currently in a new cycle with new meds/injections....so if it works I'll be about 5 weeks pg and I will go but I will stay closer to my guarders and not go out in the masses. Its been 31 months of trying so you can bet I'll be extra safe. Now I just gotta get the BFP! LOL!

Some Wii games....it always seems like they have better deals on BF but with all the other items I wanna hit up at walmart...I gotta sacrifice what comes first. Last year I passed up an awesome online deal thinking I'll hit the 2 toys I need first then the Wii games...well needless to say the Wii games were GONE in like 2 min so I missed out. I'll be watching cyber monday deals for things I won't be near in line.

My husband and I go out of town to families house, so Thanksgiving night I go to my cousins (who is also my best friend and BF shopping buddy every year), I normally do NOT bring my purse...I lose it enough not being BF, so my pockets are stuffed with Cell phone (always on vibrate and highest ringtone cause you gotta be able to hear it), debit card and some cash, the ad for that store folded up in my back pocket. i always wear a hoodie cause once inside it get too HOT! And tennis shoes...the most important piece of the pie....gotta have shoes u can move quickly in. Ohhh and...our walmart last year gave us maps...that showed where the big ticket great sale item was in the store...even though we kinda knew where we wanted to go first that helped find things later!

Just to note...Myself personally...the days I take off from work are paid. And they don't eat into my vacation or sick time...so if I wanted to camp out for 3 days I would be camping and getting paid. I think a lot of other people's jobs are similar...in the sense they take vacation time, or personal time, sick time etc. I think it just varies with each job. I would probably not camp out for that long, I don't think there is anything wrong with it but I prefer the comfort of my bed! :) Now...12hrs or 20hrs...yeah I prolly would! LOL!!

At the Walmart I will be going too, (this makes year 4), they put all their BF stuff like toys in the garden center and then rope off at the isles...then they have it roped where the line begins...so you are inside out of the cold...but not just huddling around all the different palettes(sp?). Last year...the sale on TV's WM had...the line went from electronics to our the food center door LOL! And there was only a limited supply...so really the 300th person in the back was NOT going to get one...lol. Kara

Khall- I see your in Wheeling Wva. Where are you shopping at?? I live in Cincy, but will be going to Wva, Huntington actually... and the KB Toys in Huntington mall opens at 5am! Its one of the only ones that isn't opening early. Anyways..not sure how far Wheeling is...more towards Morgantown or Parkersburg???

I agree I miss Walmart's layaway. People can say what they want about me but layaway made getting the "good" gifts possible after a very hard year. I don't think there is anything wrong with using layaway for ANY reason...especially financial ones...that is what the purpose was for...letting you pay little by little until you get it out...and get your kids/family the things they wanted but in a way you could afford it. I'm glad Kmart has layaway...I don't use it cause I think their prices are kinda high on stuff...but now that we are in a MUCH better financial situation the last 4 years layaway isn't needed...but for the next family along the road that needs it...I think its stubborn to let it go. Layaway was great.

I'm getting: $16 Wii Games (dunno which ones yet...something for 7 and 8 yr olds...) $10 Baby Alive $10 Walker to Wagon (fisher Price) $15 Baby piano thing (fisher price too I believe..?) $2 DVDs $4 Ladies clogs...I like the polka dots...okay Momma is splurging too! LOL! $88 Power Wheels Jeep $10 Mega Blocks Clothing for kids and adults... $29 printer And I'd like to buy myself the $69 Samsung Digital Camera since mine is wayyy outdated..but I dunno yet...depends on how much I end up spending at the Disney store! Thankfully being an insurance agent we have lengthy paid holidays so I will be glad to be getting paid to shop in the middle of the night LOL! Kara

Thanks for the info on the Wii games! Walmart seems to be the cheapest....$16 games? Over 50 titles...I'm hoping the supply isn't too limited. My final plan is pretty easy...since The Disney Store and KB toys (if I heard correctly with KB) is opening at Midnight...we will go there first. Then hit waffle house for some middle of the night breakfast lol, then waiting in line at walmart...to make better use of ourselves this year..we are splitting up...my cousin will grab the toys I need...and I will be in electronics getting the Wii Games for $16, then to JCPenney and Kohls...Does anyone know if Kohls is having Webkinz on sale??? My DH has PS2 and all the GH bundles. Orginally we bought the first bundle than he has used the same guitar. We also bought an additional guitar last year...(off brand that WM sells...works great)..it works fine as well. We bought Rock Band about 4 wks ago on sale at WM and the GH guitars work with it too...so after you buy the first bundle...you will only have to buy the game! What about The Disney Store?? I saw an add in last Sunday's paper...just giving coupons for black friday...like $10 off purchase of $50...etc. AND they also said they have the earliest opening time...?? MIDNIGHT? Anyone else heard this? Kara

Every year we have a specific plan...that we map out before hand. And since the biggest gifts are for children younger than 8..we hit Walmart first, then head up to the mall...Old Navy and JC Penney for clothing...since they have less toys than clothes...this is what has worked best for us for 4 years!
