The Epping WM was well stocked for BF. However, when I went back later in the day, A LOT was still available. I thought that was very strange. The door busters were all gone(not to my surprise). Target was the same way. I also visited the Salem (Rockingham), NH mall this weekend. I felt their sales were not what I had expected. It was busy, but not a MAJOR holiday busy.

Has anyone had a problem with online orders? I ordered two sheet sets from them. I got the confirmation e-mail but they have not shipped yet. The estimated arrival date is this Friday, December 4th. Yet the sheets have not left the warehouse? I have a feeling that I'm not going to receive them.

Does it come with the crashed Escalade?

Chimera, I personally have never experienced the Acer brand, so for that I cannot give input. However, based on your post, this laptop's specs are impressive for a laptop. Especially the HDMI output to a HDTV. If I had the money and if the wife would like me, I personally might buy one.

I definitely agree about BF being mainstream. I remember where a couple years ago, BF was a secret that few knew about. Now, my goodness, little kids know what it is and talk about it.

Fortunately, I didn't have to brave that store. When I went by my local TRU at about 11:30pm, there was a line WELL past the store, with their parking lot full and the next store well on its way. Honestly, there had to have over 500 people in line or getting there!

And people wonder why I go to these "events" armed. Of course, I usually don't have a problem, seeing that I'm a very large man.

I got to say that I was afraid that WM new system was going to make things worse, but it worked out wonderful! No pushing or shoving and I got everything I wanted (and then some) and was out the door by 5:15am! All the other stores had plenty of the items I wanted. All and all, my wife and I had a wonderful time. However, we have our first casualty of the season. When we got up from our nap, we noticed the frames we got from WM are chipped, cracked, and overall broken. So off we go back to see if they have more! Between online and the B&M stores, we got it all!! Thanks to all of you for the help!

Well, it worked out for me. All the items I wanted from WM weren't available online so I flew to the store and got it all !! As an added bonus Target still had my lights in stock (another in-store only special).........So I am off to bed. Thank you guys and gals for keeping me company and, of course, GD for all the hard work!

If you don't mind "refurbished" then buy it at apple.com and save $50. I bought my wife one; its a 2G but remember that it could be brand new b/c 3G came out and they sold the 2G as refurbished even though they are brand new.

Coco I just checked Best Buy and all the single seasons are available. However, their shipping times are horrible. Which TRU? There is a TRU in Portsmouth. However, TRU is opening up at midnight . I would say from Epping Wal-mart to Portsmouth TRU is 1/2 hour if you take 101 to 95. If WM has all their BF deals online, I probably won't go.
