Lol! Don't let it scare you. This is all from Monday through this morning. I guess I should have said that. Like all that Kohls stuff was from Tuesday night when the online sale went live. And I'm still shopping! I just bought another game and book.

I had a blast!! I got everything on my list and for the first time ever didn't leave the comfort of my home to head out to any stores. I've never ever done all my shopping online before. This was awesome. I've had my xmas music on, my kids hanging out, I've been in my little slippers with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...honestly, it's been so much fun. Has the site gone down? I wasn't really planning on shopping walmart but I saw the deal on those sheet sets and thought why not grab some, but all I see is a shopping cart filling up with yellow over and over again. At this point I give up, it wasn't an important purchase. But is anyone else seeing that? I clicked on a few other things and I get the cart every time.

Anybody see the laptops at 5:40am and 6:40am? They were there then disappeared.
Yeah, I saw those earlier today. I saw four total, 4:40, 5:40, 6:40, and 7:40 EST. They'll probably still show up at those times even though they aren't showing now.
Also, was someone looking for Beats headphones or am I thinking of another thread? Anyway, they're coming up at 6:00 pm EST tomorrow.

Oh wait, I see it on my phone I think. There's one deal at 10:40 that I can see on the Amazon app but not on the website on my computer. There's no pic but it says WD Red 3 TB NAS Hard Drive 3.5 Inch, SATA III 64... and then it cuts off and I can't click on it. So maybe it's not a TV after all.

I see an empy spot for a lightning deal at 10:40 or 10:50...it's a blank spot with a spinning circle. Think that will be the $98 tv?

Keep an eye out tonight for that $98 one. There's another TV in the Lightning Deals right now, a Seiki 20" for $75. We've been wanting to upgrade the kitchen TV to an HDTV so I went ahead and grabbed this one. We're currently a Neilson ratings family too and they give you $25 every time you upgrade a TV so this will only be $50 out of my pocket. Pretty happy with it!

Awesome!! That was a fantastic deal! I was like do I need another 50" TV in this house?? Lol. Sadly, no. Congrats on getting it!
Also on a side note, I must be tired from all this cooking and late-night shopping, because the Madden that came up at 8:10 wasn't even the one I needed. Lol

They dont look weird and they look normal just not in 3D. The 3D in 3DS can be shut on and off at any time, so it can be played with or without it at any time. But DS games will just play normally not distorted or anything.
Thank you so much! I wasn't sure how that worked. That opens up a lot of cheaper game choices for me, too.

I have a question for you guys. I bought a 3DS XL for my son for this xmas and I've been buying 3DS games to go with it. I saw that regular DS games will also work with it, and I'm seeing a lot of sales on those. My question is, do they look ok on the 3DS? I guess I'm confused on how that would work. Like, if they aren't in 3D does it look weird? Thanks for any help on this!

for the first time i am frustrated with these lightning deals, Planes video game is on sale, but when i push select option to choose the platform there is no option and you cant add it to your cart without selecting one.

They've fixed it now. You can choose Wii ($26.99) or DS ($16.99), and it's only 8% claimed.

Yesterday that 40" TV snuck in there very close to go-time. I pop in and check on the Lightning Deals a few times a day and I hadn't seen it all day until right before it went on sale. Maybe just keep an eye out for those TV's today. They might just keep sneaking those kind of deals in there. Not sure though. That could also be a Thursday deal since that's when the other stores will start with their cheap TV's. They seem to be shuffling around some of the deals though. For example, I had an alarm set on my phone for Madden 25 Thursday at 3:10 and then just checked and I see it tonight at 8:10 instead. So just keep checking if you can.

I finished up my Kohls shopping online and here's what I got: Oneida 82-pc flatware set, 2 memory foam mattress toppers, St. Nicholas Square snowman rug, some of the flannel men's lounge pants, Food Network 3-pc cookie sheets, electric wine opener, some boys clothing, Nerf Vortex Lumitron gun, Thomas the train Castle Quest set, and Diary of a Wimpy Kid Uno. One of the orders shipped already and the other two are "in fulfillment", and I didn't have to wait in the 3 hour Kohls line in the store! I used the 15% code because I didn't see the 20% off til I had already ordered. Oh well. And I got $60 Kohls Cash!!

I put reminders for deals I really want in my Google calender. I set a reminder for 30 minutes and 5 minutes before the start of the deal
I set reminders too! I set my iphone to remind me 5 minutes before the deal starts. During Thanksgiving week my phone is constantly beeping. Lol

Thanks to all the deals on Amazon and the Kohls sale going live last night, I don't have anything left on my list. I've decided against those stools at Walmart so I'm not going to bother with those. I got all my movies on Amazon and cleaned up at Kohls. Done done done. So my new plan is just hanging out and checking Lightning Deals. Just because I'm technically done doesn't mean I won't swoop in on some of those bargains.
And then in a few days I'll take my $60 Kohls cash out on the town.

This was the first year since I started doing Black Friday that I did all my shopping online and didn't set foot in any stores. I have to say, I thought I would miss being out there but I didn't! I was thrilled to get every single item on my wish list without having to leave the comfort of my home. I did most of my shopping on Amazon, since they're so quick to price match the ads and the Lightning Deals were sweet on the stuff I was looking for, plus I have Prime so the free 2-day shipping has me spoiled. I got everything from a Bissel Little Green to a TV, and a bunch of movies and video games, and toys. Kohls.com going live on Tuesday night made my whole week; I've never even tried to shop online with them before but ended up making 3 orders! Free shipping and all that Kohls cash was hard to resist. I also have to say I spent a lot more than I normally do because I kept finding more and more things that I wanted. When I shop in the stores on BF I tend to just get what I'm there for and get out, where online I was free to browse without being rushed. All my Christmas shopping is done. From now on, I will plan to tackle BF this way and not worry about heading out on Thanksgiving night. I have a ton of packages coming this week!
Thanks to Gottadeal for all the help! This has been my go-to source for Black Friday info since 2005 and I appreciate all the hard work everyone puts in.
And this is just my opinion, not meant to offend: I don't understand all the complaining about the new times and how it's not "fun" anymore. What was fun about waking up in the middle of the night and dragging ourselves to all the stores, hoping to get our items? I hated it. Over the past few years as the times moved up it was nice to be able to clean up from dinner and head out to shop, then come home and sleep. But now with all the online sales and free/cheap shipping, why even bother going to the stores? Let me tell you, we host Thanksgiving at our house, so there's a lot of prep the day before and of course then the family is here all day on Thanksgiving. I got every single item I wanted, didn't stress, put on one hell of a dinner, and spent the whole day with our family. I don't get all the complaining. I think we just need to embrace it and adjust. Who cares what day the deals are on? Let Friday be a day for you to relax now and bask in the knowledge that your shopping is done and you have yummy leftovers in the fridge.
