After Thanksgiving dinner tonight, my family and I drove around looking at lights, and passing by stores/through parking lots to see the lines. The only one I seen was at BB. There were 10-15 people out, with two tents. It looked like they were having fun. They had cornhole games set up, and had a grill going.

I have never shopped at K-Mart on Thanksgiving. I really want to get the Guitar Hero Wii Bundle and a 2-pack of games. I don't know how busy it gets in my hometown though, so I am trying to estimate a good time to go out there without freezing! I go out early for BF only because the stores I start out at are open 24 hours. But my hometown K-Mart is not.

Usually, I begin at Wal-mart, and have other people stationed at different stores. But this year, I am going to have to wait on ad's. At this point, I can't decide where I want to start this year.

Wow, that is impressive. I think I am going to start working on this right away. I always get overwhelmed, because I just keep mental notes of where everyone is going, store openings, ads, etc. This is really going to help.

Great ad, I see a lot I'm interested in (Wii games, Mp3 player, DVD Player, Board Games, Guitar Hero)!!! Now i'm even more excited.

It focuses on the employees and has them go through crazy situations in an effort to get the best deals for their Gottadeal community. Whether they are mud wrestling a Wal-Mart executive to get the BF ad early, or drinking gallons of coffee to stay up late and post special sale info, the employees go through anything and everything to get the deals out there. The story lines would focus on what they go through, and the friendships they form with fellow employees and even site members. The employees of the Gottadeal.com office are considered "everyday superheroes" amongst their fans.

Ok, this is just one of many..the first to pop in my mind. This was BF 2006 if I remember right. I had a group of 6, including myself. 4 were at other stores and myself and my best friend were at Wal-Mart. We were both waiting by stacks of DVD's and electronics. We met this very pregnant woman waiting, and all of us started talking, swapping stories. My friend mentioned that she would be worried the woman would get hurt. Well, paper starts flying, people start shoving, and the two palettes we are standing by start to get moved. The pregnant woman gets knocked over by someone behind her, and falls in between the palettes. Her purse and stuff all falls to the floor, so we both hold on to her things and help pull her up from between the palettes. Thank goodness, she didn't get hurt. She was tearing up, because she really didn't think it would be that crazy. After the craziness dies down, we all stand in line together, and wind up exchanging e-mails. I've seen her out and about to this day, and we always stop to chat.

Hi everybody! My name is Maria. I am 21 years old and live in Elizabethtown, KY. I am a student a WKU, soon to graduate with a Bachelors in Journalism, Associates in Folklore. I have 2 sisters who are the majority of who I shop for on BF (Heather, 9 and Summer, 3). I've been going Black Friday shopping with my family and friends for as long as I can remember! I love it!

We usually cook a good breakfast before we leave. Then, we have a little discussion over coffee, and remind each other where everyone is going to be, and also make sure everyone has their cell phone on them. Then, after all the shopping is done, we go somewhere for lunch, take cheesy pictures of ourselves with all of our sweet deals, head home and CRASH!

People who shouldn't be pushing carts under the influence of BF ads. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten hit. And I'm prety sure half the times were not an 'accident'.

I am getting very antsy, and I can't believe it's coming up so soon! Time really flies, doesn't it? But, even though it's really fun shopping (I consider it a sport!), this is sort of a bonding experience and tradition for my family and friends. I love it, and I can't wait!

Coffee, Food, Jacket and Money. I won't have anybody with me this year, because i've got them mapped out at other stores!:)
