So i guess you are due around Feb 19th ish ? :) thats awesome! Im fairly warming up to the idea! Its not ever really "rough" its just busy esp TRU in the wee morning hours lol im usually first in the store! so we shall see how it goes! :)

I will be 28 weeks this BF :) Im nervous but excited about this year. I have a 3 yr old son who i want to make sure this is a big christmas since it will be his last as an only child. Should i skip my usual "BIG" stores? Should i not go at all? I usually go in this order : TRU,Khols,BRU,KMart.(those are my essentials lol) I will have a few ppl with me to help. I just dont want to go into preterm labor or anything lol Anyone else pregnant? or have been pregnant on BF? Thanks!!

Yea...BF is BIGGER than thanksgiving to me hahaha! My birthday is Nov 14th so i always have everyone get me gift cards so i can go shopping lol i always want to buy something for myslef or the "house" and cant do it with the $400 Present budget DH gives me HA!

Soooo ready for it! been ready for it! haha I expect the black friday forum to be open within a few weeks(hopefully sooner *wink*wink*) lol I havent started any shopping yet. I NEED to bad! We are expecting our 2nd baby in Feb so i will be doing ALOT of baby shopping on BF this year! Our son has asked for simple things...buzz lightyear stuff,racoon zhu zhu pet,and a truck power wheel lol BUT i always get him alot of the TRU BF Door busters as extras and suprises! He always loves them! CANT WAIT!!!!!

ok so on the GMA video about the Christmas in July sales they had the "sing-a-ma-jigs" there to show on the sjype interview and she said they were going to be a hot toy. So please....if your kids want these please try to get them now...before we have another crazy holiday toy year again! lol I dont want TRU opening at midnight again pack to the gills for these things like last yr with the zhu zhu's :)

Yea thats what i was thinking but i need ideas as far as what to paint...i cant really do faces good but i was thinking of just like doing some very whimsical trees and like a toy shop etc. idk we will have to see! :)

hey guys & girls! I know i am starting my holiday shopping and planning(as well as decorating) so i figured we needed a thread(besides the toy thread) to discuss all things holiday untill its time for the offical forum to open :) One of my questions...i am making all my fall crafts this week as most stores have started getting fall stuff in. Here in a week or 2 i am planning on starting christmas crafts and such since its the most time consuming holiday of the year. I am wanting to do some outdoor wooden displays (like on deck the yard) but we are having a hard time as what to do! we dont have alot of $ to play with or i could go all out! but on a limited budget we can only do a few key items! i love whimsical christmas stuff and the grinch themed stuff and would love to do something like that! im a *fairly* good painter i design childrens room signs and large wooden wall cutouts.

im going to go in Aug. (when DH starts getting bigger checks) and get alot of the bigger toy story stuff. Ive been buying little $tree stuff here and there for stockings and such. Pillow pets is on my sons wishlist too but im not ordering it,they should be like the snuggies last yr!

ok so in regards to my previous post about Buzz...i went to target last night to scope them out and they have a Buzz thats $129!! OMG i was in shock!! idk which one he is gonna get now. He also wants the buzz wings. alot of the smaller toys were sold out and the isle was PACKED! But im sure that its just from where the movie has just came out and such :) Still i need to make sure i get theose 2 things!!

well i know for sure that we are getting the $50 buzz lightyear lol my son has ask for it for weeks now! he runs around the house saying "to infinity & beyond" lol So, i will prob go ahead and get it just in case they get hard to find lol

See i am sooo happy we are not really a electronic loving family lol i have a plam pre smart phone and it basically does everything i need it too! lol including being a mp3 player and it has more GB than my laptop! :) But i suspect when imy son gets older i will be buying them too!

Ok so i have done some research and heres what i think *may* be "hot" toys this year :) -Monster high dolls/etc. (just came out on tru online. looks pretty neat if ur into that sorta thing!) -the "KUNG ZHU" zhu zhu things MAY be big(if kids see them!) BTW has anyone seen the new zhu zhu's? they are sooo cute! -mega blocks has alot of new stuff out -Erector Mini Build and Play Set (race car,buggy,plane & more) -Twilight stuff -Tamagotchi -pillow pets....eh? they are now selling them at tru..my son always wants them on tv. -i think webkins,toy story etc. is all going to sell well. Thats all i have for now :) time to go eat breakfast lol

i have been wanting to ask the same thing for days! i have been avoiding GD just so i would p*ss someone off by asking lol...I dont think the silly bands are going to be much everyone already has them and my zhu zhu is dead but thats my fault my son(3) still plays with it like crazy! lol

Well This was the best and craziest black friday i have EVER experinced!!! First off I got home at 6:30AM tottally got everything i needed/wanted & more! We started out headed to Toys R Us we got there at 9:30 and the line was crazy long and im always first in line so i was kinda disapoionted but still ok! They opened at midnight we ran in,(oh we even had a group stretching and trying shoelaces tight! my brother was the "ring leader" of that one lol) We chanted "Zhu Zhu Pets" me and the 1st girl behind me started that one as they gave out tickets lol and when we all ran to the door about 5 till midnight we started a chant to warn the people trying to cut in line "Dont let them in! Dont let them in" also started by me and the other girl lol we got in had a very hard time finding what all we needed and we were in checkout line for 3 hrs well it was close to 3am when we left. As we were going out i asked a lady that worked there that was doing head count while we were outside how many people she had so far and she said close to 1200!!!!!!!!!! I belive it! the line was 6x the length that bust buy usally has and its looong! I guess because of the "open at midnight" and the zhu zhus made it such a big deal! I was amazed and im always there 1st in line!! every year!!!! Anyhoo that was fun we then went to jack in the box ate a lil then hit khols at 4am got to skip line thanks to me applying for a kohls card and got TONS of stuff there too!! then went to kmart and that was great!!! no lines and i got everything on my list!!!!!! We added what it would have been if everything was regular price and it was very close to $810 I only spent $324!!!! Great deals and by far my best black friday! I am so tickled!!! Now gonna try to get some sleep!!!!! Ill post what all i got later when it shows up on my account online and ill try to upload my pics!!!

ill be at my tru in about 2 hrs!!!! its almost 8 here. ill try to get there at 9:30-10 to be first in line! Wish me luck!!!!

What time is anyone gonna try to be at TRU? I am clueless as to when to leave! I live about 1 hour away from where im shopping...???? Help!!!!
