i was just looking at the older ads and its amazing how much more items stores have on sale on bf now compared to 2002! It makes you realize how much this "holiday" is growing! yeah!! lol:D

The Santa Clause(1) is gonna be on TBS this friday the 28th! I think thats the date! On TBS!

I *sometimes*hit kohls first just because they open at 4 and im usally first in line get in there really quick then i rush over to TRU to wait in line a few min...then the less important stores like old navy,the mall,babies r us,dicks,etc just in whatever order seems best for the deals! I dont really need electronics so i dont go to best buy or anything! and walmarts toooooo crazy!(even for me!) Its like the most popular store where i shop*forget that!*

My hubby thinks i have lost my mind! I am sitting at the computer, pimpin my GDeal.com Black Friday Shirt,,,and my snowflake jammie pants....listening to x-mas radio on WMPlayer While lookin at x-mas decorations!!! He about Sh*t in his pants when i turned on the area heater(IT WAS REALLY COLD!) lol and told him that he had to get the x-mas lights up before he goes back to work this fall! (he gets really busy during deer season hes works at a meat house in the fall) ROTFLMAO! CANT YA JUST SMELL THE COOL AIR AND THE SOUNDS OF THE STORES...reciepts ripping off and change being counted out lol

oh i love michales! I will be buying lots for myself there! I usally go to ac moore but if they support the site heck yeah im there! I think the deals will be better and the crowd will be worse!

i just saw a commercial for a craftsman tool set that all the tools use the same battery my DH was into it i hope that i can find it on BF prob at sears??

Heres a video i wrote about gotta deal.com last year for a contest! i won a t-shirt! My two brothers volunteered to sing and my dads playing the guitar...we recorded on my cell in my dads pawn shop lol so the quailty isnt that great!

someone usally starts packing up about 2-3 hrs b4 the store opens and everyone else follows...when you have been waiting in line with the same people sometimes for 2-3 days in advance they will hold your place! and vice versa!!

ok so while looking at the sears and kmart christmas stuff it reminded me that i paint x-mas ornaments every year and with my DH going back to work in a few weeks(deer season!) I will not have as much free time to myself to paint! so....i finally have something that will curb my x-mas urge!!! still a lil' bad on the bf urge lol!

i cant view the christmas lane on kmart or sears??? it takes me to a search page!!!:mad: I wanted to see the pretty homepage!!! you can still search christmas items and it pulls up some thingS

Yeah my hubby use to live there! We go when we visit his sister! Too crazy to go bf shopping though! Ill stick to Hickory...smaller town...same stores...and much less craziness! lol

I wish i wouldn't have logged in the other week to see the freebies forum! Ever since i seen that the bf forums were open i can't stop thinking about it! During the day im fine! but as soon as my son goes to bed and i get my email and stuff online done i have to come here and then i start thinking more and more about BF lol I even have to think about it to get to sleep at night! I think to myself...ok haley...go to bed and when you wake up you will be 1 more day closer to BF! lmao! And Brad....you USUALLY have done let a few out of the bag by now! I better see at least ace or harbor f. or even some wierd outlet store by sept 1st! lol just kidding! But i do know that aces is out....now i the question is when is brad gonna post it???lmao you posted it aug 6th last year! and here it is the 14th!!! lmao sorry im board and have BF on the mind!

The ads are probably ace hw. harbor frieght or whatever its called, and umm im clueless to the others!! thats pretty good that you have 4 well sorry 3 already though! I can't wait!!! i cant belive that next month is sept!!!

Hey im from NC too! I go to the TRU in Hickory! I love it with a 2 yr old its my FIRST stop really its not that bad the first yr we went we were late and got there at 7 or so the lines were soooo bad!!! In 08 when we went we got there at 4:30 or so? only b/c we went to goodies b/c they opened at 3 or 4 and there wasnt anyone at TRU when we came thru! When we got back there were like 30 people in line but i still got everything i needed!!! They did the winding lines last year but i dont think they will do that this year beacuse it just caused ciaos! I love it though!!! I can get everything my son wants and more for under 200 bucks! Its much better than walmart!!! you get really good quailty toys! unlike walmart!!!

nothing really i dont think i usally just buy toys mostly and all of them seem pretty good! I did get that HUGE firetruck that squirts real water and all that last year at TRU and it sucks it was the last one and i even got out of line to go get it I ended up fighting another ladie for it and the box was all messed up lol BUT... my son(whos 2) LOVED IT!!! He actually found where we were hiding the gifts(already wrapped) a few days before x-mas and accidently opened it all he said for 2 days was "IRE TUCK" LOL thats how he said it! It was so funny! The thing dosent go really well on carpet and the remote for it was attached???stupid but a really cool toy as far as the whole concept goes but it needed some improvements!

In MY opinion toys r us..i have a 2 yr old lol it helps alot I always get to fill my living room full of awsome name brand gifts for all the kids in my family for under 500 bucks! and where i do my bf shopping the line there starts at 4:30! so no long hours! Khols is really good too! 2. What would be your #1 piece of advice to someone totally new to Black Friday? PLAN!! and bring a friend! if possible have 2 ppl at every store to get everything for everyone I did this one year and it was awsome! but mainly PLAN PLAN PLAN! 3. Besides offering great deals, what else can a store do to get you to shop there on BF? ORGANIZE!! last yr tru was so outta whack they "tried" to make every one follow this stupid line all around the store! needless to say it didnt work lmao i KNOW they will not be attempting that this year! the check out lines did go quick though!

Man!! i LOVE this idea! Im def. doing it this year i always keep all my BF stuff in a binder with the ads,envolopes for reciepts,and then lists of items i want in what store but THIS sounds ALOT easier!!! Thanks!!!!
