  1. Ooops… I meant the hard copy. Guess I shouldn't type while on Nyquil……I usually pick it up as soon as it is delivered to a gas station down the street. It is great, the owner calls as soon as they arrive. He thinks I am nuts for going out, but always makes sure I get a copy of every ad….

  2. You'll probably have to go directly to their coupon page first. Go to www.target.com The COUPONS tab is currently a little ways down in the right side if the homepage. Click on it. Once you're on the coupon page, click on ELECTRONICS on the left side of the page. The iPod coupon will be on the page that loads. You'll have to install their coupon printer before it will print.

If you're signed up for their mobile coupons you can text KIDSGIFTS to 827438 to receive the same coupon.

Thank you!  :gdbouquet1:  I was finally able to get a paper copy of the coupon :bunny: which of course, said, one per product... But with the mobile code, I was all set. Of course, neither coupon code worked and the store manager had to overide....

  3. Yes! It's a little better at Target right now as there's also a 10% off printable coupon on their website! You can use it and still get the $25 gift card back.

I'm not sure this will work...but here's a direct link to the printable electronics coupons:

    http://coupons.target.com/electronics-coupons

There is also the same 10% coupon that came in a recent batch of text coupons.

I can't seem to get the coupon to print… The coupons that I got through the text message doesn't have anything for the iPod…. Am I missing something?

  4. For her birthday, we got her a day at the spa. She was over the moon! I looked into getting tickets to see Pink in concert, but it's on a Wednesday..... If she misses a day of school for something like that, she can't compete in the next swim meet... Off to look at her iPhone for other music ideas..... Thank you everyone! Keep the ideas coming!
  5. Does anyone know if Sirius will have any type of renewal special? I let my subscription last and was determined not to renew. I don't like paying for ad free radio that still has ads... But, after two months, and not much to listen to... I might have to break down if the price is right.

  6. I am hoping to get some gift ideas for DD16. She has everything.... iPad mini, iPhone, Tv, blu ray palyer. Being the only child, only grand child, and first great.... She tends to be a little spoiled. Okay, if we are being honest, a lot spoiled. :indiffere Her birthday was in September, which makes this more difficult. She will get gift cards for books, some earrings, make up, etc for her stocking. I would like to find something, perhaps, out of the box. Any suggestions would be great! While she wouldn't care if there wasn't a pile under the tree, but I am hoping to find something.

    Thanks!

  7. We normally make our final checklist on what we WANT (we end up with things that catch our eye also) on Thanksgiving evening with the actual ad's in hand, we get to bed for a couple hours. Wake up around 1-2 AM then head out to our first store. Usually BestBuy, we shop until about 8AM or so then head to Cracker Barrel for breakfast and recharge, while eating we usually plan our next stops. We will shop until we have all we want or in the case where we have large items till we need to drop at home, if we need to drop our stuff off we will then head back out and  hit the remaining stores (Usually places like JoAnns, Home Depot and so forth. Once we are mostly done we will head home eat leftovers and sort through our haul. We usually crash for a couple of hours then head to WalMart and Target again to see whats leftover. Then back home for a night of bumming around and Christmas movies before a Saturday of house decorating.

I started having people meet me every few stores, depending on how large the purchases were, to unload. :sidesplit

If it was something for my immediate family, or a gift we were giving, DH would transfers the items to his vehicle. My aunts would load their vehicles, as I did lots of the shopping for them. DH would be great and deliver Starbucks and a bagel.

  8. Since the Furby frenzy of 1998 which makes this my silver anniversary!

The Furby frenzy was my first year as a shopper too! I worked several BF's before it.... I have also worked Thanksgiving. The belief at the store - "We are Jewish and do not celebrate Christmas, why not profit from it"!!!

I am not sure of how many I have left in me.... I think I still do it for the spirit and tradition of it all.

  9. I love doing stockings.  I hang 5 but only 4 get anything in ...mine is left empty....lol.....sorry but I am not filling my own stocking...lol.....and I do my mom one here. They get their stockings Christmas eve.  I do a lot of what you all do and I put in a cd or dvd  or games.

My stocking is always empty too.... I have to get my own Christmas presents, so I refuse to have to fill my own stocking.

  10. When I read the topic yesterday, I had to actually stop and think about it. There are a few things that I want, but what we need, as a family.... is another story.

We could also use a family vacation. The way that our schedules have been with work and DD's school & sports, we have had one vacation in more than five years, and during that one DH had training classes every day. DD is now 16 and with college choices coming fast, some family time would be great!

But, I think our house knows that there is a little extra money available for the holidays! :gdcensored: Our bathrooms are now in need of some work....
