I fell in love with that tree but the thought of spending over $300 on a tree makes me cringe

I'd like to buy my nephews 7 inch tablets for Christmas. Most folks are warning against the off name brands so I was thinking about the Google Nexus. I can get one now for about $179. I am also looking at the Samsung 2 ($170) or the HP Slate ($140). But truthfully - they are 13 yrs old and I'd rather not spend that much on a tablet if possible. I'd like to keep it at around $125. Any predictions as to what the prices of these particular tablets might be on BF?

I love seeing the store all decorated for Christmas - puts me in the mood for shopping!

Hi all - what do you think the chances are that I'll be able to get the 24" Dynex Tv online on BF? Also - does BB price adjust? I'd love to go pick up the TV this week if they'd price adjust it on BF.

Gee Whiz - are these toys on cleaance for all of 10 minutes?? Every one has gone up to the original price now! I'm very disappointed. How does the clearance price work? Is it always only for a short time then it goes back to the original price? Most clearance items that nkow of usually stay att he clearance price until sold out. Just wondering...

Is this particular system going to be phased out soon? Usually when you see a deal like this ($30 games for $7) it usually means no new games will be coming out and the system is going to be phased out. Anyone know for sure?

Great price for the batteries but the $5.81 shipping almost negates it!

What a deal - I actually placed 2 orders (had to place 2 seperate orders in order to get the freebies on both). The chocolate mouse will be great for my girls' stockings and the rest will be great for holiday entertaining. Ordered mine to come mid December. Thanks for posting this deal!

So how do you know when there's a "woot off" or a "bag of junk " up for grabs? Do you have to keep the website up and just keep checking and refreshing it? Do they have "woot offs" every day? Every week? Random times? This sounds like something that could become VERY addictive!

Just be sure you find out in advance if they will do price adjusting. Last year I wanted 2 TVs so I called the Target in my town a few days before BF and asked about price adjusting. They adamantly told me that they would NOT be price adjusting on BF. So I called the Target in the next town and they were happy to tell me they would absolutely price adjust as long as I went in to get the adjustment during the time the item was on sale. I always get the name of the person who tells me yes and ask if they will be in during that time. If they won't be there I ask to speak to someone who will be there during that time. This way if there is any question, I have a contact person to go to. I also usually ask for that contact person the day I actually buy the item and confirm that they will price adjust - this way they usually remember me on BF if there's a problemWorks for me every time.

I found that I had the best luck ordering online for in-store pickup if offered. In fact, i ordered 2 cameras from Sears a few years ago and when went to pick them up they only had one available. So they upgraded both cameras to ones that were about $60 more with much nicer features, for the sale price. I've also had very good luck with Walmart. I order everything online (I get on just before midnight) and pick it up after I've been to the stores that don't offer in store pickup. Last year I ordered sevral things from amazon (signed up for Amazon prime a few weeks before) and had no trouble at all. But all that being said - I really missed the Black Friday experience the year I orderd evrything online - I love being at the stores in the wee hours of the morning!

I'm about 85% done with the extended family - just the immediate family left. I hit a great sale at Old Navy - got cardigan sweaters for $12.50, bought 7 of them in different colors and then applied a 25%off coupon code so got 7 for about $65. Next went to Walmart and bought Disney kids clothes on clearance for my cousin's little ones - they're going to disney in March. Got 2 outfits, 2 pairs sunglasses, 2 water bottles and 4 coloring books/crayons (all CARS and DISNEY PRINCESSES)for about $30. Now hopefully BF will have some great sales on video games for the nephews, DVDs for my movie-holic DD and maybe a nice 46" flat screen for myself

Can someone explian to me how the "woot" works? everyone seems awfully excited about it and I think I'm missing out LOL!

For the past several years I've given all my extended family (ie: cousins, aunts, etc) the same gift. One year everyone got bathrobes, another year they all got fleece blankets, last year they all got tickets to a hockey game. My problem this year is that with 2 kids in college - I can't afford $50 each! I'd like to keep my budget at about $25. I'm running out of gift ideas. I thought about digital picture frames this year but I'm not sure I could get them for $25. Anyone have any suggestions for a nice gift? I will warn you - they are NOT the type to appreciate homemade cookies as a gift LOL!

Wanting to buy 2 flat screen tvs this BF but being unable to get to Target til after noon, I emailed guest relations at Target and asked about theri price adjustment policy, specifically for Black Friday. They nicely emailed me a copy of the generic policy. So I went to my local target, grabbed the TVs and went to the service desk just to be sure I could get the adj on BF. They told me "nothing in the 2 day ad will be price adjusted" ! I tried to argue but there was only a brand new manager on who had no clue. So I left the TV's went to my car and CALLED Target guest relations. They informed me that the policy had no exclusions. I went back into the stroe and again was told "sorry - not happening". I called GR while in the store but the manager refused to talk to them! By this time I had been in the store well over an hour and finally said forget it! When I got in my car - I called the Target in the next town over. They said "absolutley - you can get the price adjustment on BF!" The person I spoke to then confirmed with her manager, gave me her name and the name of the person who would actually be in the store on BF and told me "no problem". So I hopped over there - got my 2 TVs and while I was in electronics - the young man actually told me that these TVs were going on sale Friday and to be sure to bring in the receipts so I could get the price adjustment! They could not have been more accomodating! The other Target has lost my business completely - it is definitely worth the extra 15 minute ride to go to this other, more accommodating store. So I got my TVS, will be getting my price adjustment on BF and all is well in the world! So try a different stoe if you don't get the answer you want!

Hi all, I'm going to try to get two of the Westinghouse 26 inch flat screen TVs this weekend and try to price adjust on Black Friday. But I can't tell what the model number is on the adscan and there are 2 listed on the Target website! They seem similar but they have 2 different model numbers.Can anyone tell from the adscan what the model number might be? With my luck I'll pick up the wrong one and will be stuck!!LOL! I'm looking to buy a 42 in LCD and three 22 inch ones this year. I know I will not be able to lug 4 tvs out of the store myself! Do you all think that there will be employees available to grab what I need and bring it to the checkout? I was actually thinking about getting some "SOLD" stickers (the really big ones) and running over to the TVs, putting sold stickers on theones I want , THEN looking around for an available employee to help me. Of course, if Target has what I'm looking for I'm going to get them a few days before and then price adjust - but you never know what stores will have what bargains. any suggestions on the best way to handle this??

I just received a response to my email from Target. I specifically asked about Black Friday price adjusting. The response I received was the usual stated policy that is on the wall at the customer service desk at most Target stores. It basically says that if an item is offered for a lower price in that week or the next, Target will adjust the price and refund you the difference. Did not mention specifically about black Friday, although i did ask specifically about that day. I guess they don't want to give a straight answer. But I WILL be shopping there the day BEFORE Thanksgiving then marching in there on BF with letter in hand to get my price adjustment- ready to fight if I have to!!

Do you know anyone who IS a student? My daughter needed a particular program for a class at college and online the cheapest I could find it was $389. Someone suggested I call the school bookstore and their price for the EXACT same program was $89!! Plus - it was dicounted the day after I ordered it and they gave me the lower price of $73. Grab a neice, nephew neighbor - anyone who goes to college and see if they can get it for you. Good Luck!
