  1. I'm not a Plus member. I've never even heard of that before a few days ago. Hope that doesn't mean I won't get an invite
  2. I hope I get an invite! I'm looking at that Samsung Smart camera. It has decent reviews on Amazon. Any thoughts on the camera? Or maybe a different one somewhere else?
  3. The Nexus 7 32GB will be on sale at Office Depot for $229.99 Thurs, Fri, and Sat (11/22, 11/23, 11/24) as well.
  4. It has been uploaded on the forum!
  5. Elena....Try using this link: http://www.gottadeal.com/goto.php?http://blackfridaycharts.com/ These are the comparison charts. At the top scroll through the menu for tablets and you can see the differences in tablets. I have the Samsung Galaxy2 10.1" 16GB. I like it, but I have a few problems as well. I feel it's too big. Not weight wise, just that the 10.1" is rather large. Granted, I have not used a 7" or any others, so I can't really compare. I also have not figured out how to get it off landscape mode. So I can't hold it upright to do anything. I have to hold it sideways. If that makes sense It is fast, I have no problems browsing the internet or using FB. I cannot play some FB games like FarmVille, but I have a laptop and a cell phone to do that. You Tube videos play fine. It has front facing speakers, so the sound doesn't get muffled if it's sitting in your lap or leaning against something. I haven't had it very long, so I'm still playing with it, but it seems pretty good.
  6. You need to click reset to get it to display the charts. I guess that reset button should have said search or something else to make it less confusing
  7. I'm looking for a kitchen knife set with like boning, paring, filet, etc knives. Then I'd also like a nice set of steak knives. I'd prefer knives without serrated edges. I went to a restaurant and their steak knives were all one piece and sat on the table on their backs instead of sides. It was so cool! They had a nice weight to them and were all silver, no wood. I don't really know anything about knives since I've always had the cheapy plastic or wooden ones with a block. Any helpful hints from experienced kitchen people (since I am not one of those) would be great!!
  8. Thanks dealluvr, that would be great!! I knew you would be able to chime in since you're always creating something in your kitchen!
  9. Can anyone recommend a nice quality kitchen knife set?
  10. Hi rlm626! I'm in Clio too! We too asked at the local Verizon store, but didn't get very far. My son needs a new phone. Basic- not smart phone. We'll see.
  11. For me it was there mostly the whole show. I turned my speakers down and it was still there. Maybe when you moved or got closer. I'm not sure. I couldn't pinpoint when it happened. I was too engrossed to let it bother me.
  12. Webcast was great except for the sound cracking issue. I loved the GD.com tutorial for our new members. Very helpful. Skype usage will be helpful in the future. Overall, good show. Can we DVR the webcast and save it to watch later?
  13. If you do a kindle one, then can we have a nook one as well?? (I'm a nook owner.)
  14. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31-jIANBrYL._SL500_AA300_.jpghttp://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/B000LGOG26/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=284507&s=kitchen I bought this one (not on Amazon, but on ebay for a much lower price) and it works great!! We have 6 people in my house, 2 dogs and a cat. My house always smelled like dogs and whatever had been cooked that day. I couldn't stand walking into my house from outside because the smell was so overpowering. I burned candles, plugged in those room deodorizers and sprayed air fresheners like febreeze endlessly. Nothing seemed to work for the smells. After buying this purifier, the musty dog smell was gone within 2 days and now I can smell my candles when they are burning! This unit is really easy to use. You just plug it in and turn it on and it starts right up. The light turns red when it needs to be cleaned. It doesn't take filters- you just flip open the side and wipe the blades with a damp cloth. That was a huge factor for me. Filters seem to add to the cost of a unit and I knew if I needed filters, I'd be buying them left and right. I think I'd like to get one for my car as well.
  15. Mine was still 50% too, but I still stocked up as lots of stuff was already gone. I figure 50% off is better than nothing if I missed out.
  16. All the kids smiled! My sister and I had to show the girls how to dance to New Kids on the Block! We were soooo cool!! And of course...the guys doing all the cooking! What a wonderful day!

  19. I redid the almond joy bars- they turned out great! I froze the coconut bars then dipped them. Worked out much better!
  20. Not very well Im afraid. Im not much of a baker but it seemed the chocolate was too thick. I added those little white chocolate thinning pieces, but still no luck getting it right. Any tips from anyone else on these?
