Tell us who you have talked to about getting a BF ads...who are your contact people at the different stores and what have you found out so far about the status of the ads.

Has anyone heard about Victoria's Secret specials this year? I looked at the 2007 thread and was not too impressed (40% off bras and a gift bag when you spent $60 seemed to be the two biggies). I don't know if I should do my shopping there earlier in the month so I have time for the big deals BF or if stopping in on the 28th will be worth it...

I don't know if you have ever given blankets but I like to get some of the "Big One" fleece blankets from Kohl's. On BF they are usually under $5 and I have never meant a person who didn't love a blanket!

Just wondering...do you remember what any of the tv or boxed sets were? That's a great price, I wish mine would do something like that!

Now you have me super antsy!!!! I can't wait until they start rolling in! Harbor Freight was so exciting to see but now they made me really want a store I actually shop at!

My worst Black Friday experience was not that bad but it was definitely memorable. A couple of years ago I wanted a tv from K-mart so I got up before the crack of dawn and was outside of K-mart about 45 min before it opened for my first real Black Friday experience. There was not a huge amount of people there and they were in a big clump not a line so I found myself a spot towards the far right as close as I could get. When the time came the manager came to open the doors (alone:eek:) and began with the one on the right. This meant climbing up on a chair and pushing the door open while pushing some button or something. Well the door went cock-eyed and jammed. Before I knew it the herd of people began jumping over this jammed door and running in while the manager held on for dear life. I climbed right over the door too and grabbed a cart since this tv was huge and took off. A very rude guy cut me off and pushed me out of the way to grab a tv and run…well he took two steps and dropped the huge thing on the ground. I slide mine in my cart and walked right trying not to laugh even though I did kinda feel bad for him! Anyway I got my tv and, after a 15 min. task of shoving it into a car it should have never fit into while people honestly watched and giggled, have been addicted to Black Friday since.

Is there a time your thinking about? It depends on the time, like I know Brad likes to end the contests at 11am Eastern so that time would make a different day better for me than an afternoon or evening chat session...

Waiting in the cold Hour after hour for a good deal Oh, the money saved!

1. Let the ads out already…I don’t see what the big secret is! Don’t you want people exciting and looking forward to going to your store? 2. Have plenty of registers open please! 3. Maps of where hot items are awesome. My Walmart did that last year and we loved it! No guessing or missing items if they are in a different department. 4. I know it’s hard to do with the stress of the day but have employees actually know where the stuff and lines are. Heck, make them maps…and while you’re at it make some copies for us too! 5. Price match! I do not want to wait in the line at Best Buy for hours just for a couple of Dvds…which is why Walmart’s price matching rocks! 6. Afternoon sales! I can’t be at 10 stores at once so I think some stores (especially malls, etc.) would benefit from having sales from like noon to five. That way you can still get the deals but can do so later in the day without rushing from place to place like a nut and still not having enough time! 7. MESH BAGS!!! Carts are a pain and baskets are hard to move around as well as hard on the wrist. I’d love to bring my own if you want but the whole shop lifting thing comes into play so hand out bags when people enter and then collect them at the registers. …If I could only pick one of these it would be number 7! It would be soooo amazing to throw a big bag over my shoulder and shop, so seriously think about it please :)!

I contacted four local news outlets! atrotter the Lifestyles/Entertainment Editor-The Sentinel (Local Newspaper) Patriot News via the Contact Us Link (Local Newspaper) ABC 27 News via the Contact Us Link (Local News Station) WGAL 8 News via the Contact Us Link (Local News Station) I said something similar to what aprncess said and titled it as a possible story! Hopefully someone bites, this is a great site and the word should get out :) It would not let me add the links to the sites (it said I have not been a member long enough) so if they are needed just let me know and I can e-mail or whatever!

My family thinks I'm nuts but I talk about it at least once a day and am on here at least three times a day! I'm so happy other people feel the same way :) I thought I was the only one until I found this site!
