I'm further along this year then I have ever been. My stepson is 3 so he's easy to buy for and I always end up with way too much for him. So far he has the majority of the Paw Patrol launch and roll track sets and a couple of PJ mask character and car sets that I picked up at Walmart on clearance. I was also able to get him two miles from Tomorrowland play sets at Kmart for next to nothing and an remote control miles and Merk from Kohl's online clearance. He has a couple puzzles, coloring books and some other small things put back as well. I have a nice collection of Toys for Tots items started as well. My grandfather and Uncle both of which are usually my hardest are pretty much complete. My other grandmother and grandfather are about done as well and I have a few things for both my mom and dad. Plus a couple of things back for others on my shopping list. At this rate I'm worried I'll be done before Black Friday!! I am not the best at budgeting however I have a few ways I save for Black Friday and holiday shopping that work well for me. First of all anytime that I get a gift card throughout the year rather be for returning merchandise or as a bonus for a purchase or even through a work promotion I put it in an envelope and keep them all for holiday shopping. I also do a lot of cash back sites such as Ibotta and savingstar and then on November 1st of every year I pull that money out and use it for holiday shopping. I also consign my stepsons clothes twice a year and the fall Consignment check always goes straight into the holiday savings. Also starting September 1st any cash that I get I add to my envelope. I'm usually able to cover the majority of my holiday expenses with these. Although I do pick up gifts throughout the year when I see them on clearance or for a great deal so at this point I do already have a small dent in my shopping without using any of my holiday spending money. Has anyone ever shopped for Disney Junior DVDs (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Miles From Tomorrowland, Doc McStuffins, Etc) on Black Friday? I have been watching all the ads and haven't seen any of them listed and was wondering if you've ever found any good deals on them and if so where?
