I just do not understand what stores think they gain from all opening at the same time? I would want to open at a different time then my competitors so I had a better chance of people being at my store. If everyone (Kohl's, Target, Walmart) all open at 4am the only the one with the best ad is going to benefit...

That is horrible news!! I always do Kohl's at 4am, Walmart at 5am and Target at 6am. What will I do now? The ads will decide it all I guess...

I thought last year there were lists somewhere that showed the specific dates that ads were released over the past years. Like a 2009 list that showed in order when the ads posted to GottaDeal and then the same thing for 2008 and so on. Am I just missing where these are are are they no longer posted on the site? Any help would be appreciated!

I hate to be like this but I never want to take a BF first timer!! I think everyone should experience it but I do not want to be the one to teach them how it goes. I go with my mother every year and, like you, we have it down to a science. I swear we can talk telepathically that day! We know what we need to get, where we need to meet and can always find each other in the crowd, I can not imagine waiting on someone who may not get it. BF is the best but most stressful (in the best way) day of the year for me and I do not know how I would handle trying to change my system. Please let us know how it goes after the fact, even though I am sure it will be just fine!

I am looking for a 40-46 inch led tv, a water/shock proof camera, a Makita 18-Volt Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless 3-Piece Combo Kit, a low priced laptop, a down alternative comforter (which I am hoping Bon-Ton repeats their $19.97 special) and a waffle maker! These are my biggies at least I know my list will grow and grow as usual…

Constantly! My family, friends and co-workers are all sick of me talking about it already. I have already scheduled the day off work and made my lists of who I need to buy for. I have also been shopping like crazy through MyPoints and cashing in my points to get gift cards to use for Black Friday! I need to start saving more though for the Christmas season. I do not have a Christmas club this year and I know I should be putting money back weekly. Just this week I got out last years Black Friday ads and skimmed the ones from my favorite stores :) I have problems I know but I can not help it...I LIVE for Black Friday!!!
