  1. After reviewing twice I found 5 maybe items. Definitely worth a shot online but I won't be putting the store on my list of places to be early AM. Maybe drop by later in the day and try my luck:)

    That's what I was thinking. I am just worried about the Big One Fleece over sized Plush throws being gone...I LOVE them!!

  2. After my initial hatred of the ad I set down was still able to find 21 items that at least semi interested me to maybe go get. I will def. be watching their sales up until then though because I think some of the prices will be matched or beat...
  3. I called all my local Walmart's last night about what time they open BF and they all said real smart well we are open 24 hours so midnight. So i corrected my question and asked them when the BF sale starts and they all said we do not know yet, that comes from corporate.
  4. I am happy to see a major ad and Kohl's was one of my major wants but I am sooooo disappointed after this ad. A lot of the stuff that repeats from last year is more. Like the hanging jewelry box that was $27.99 last year us $39.99 this year!!! WHAT!!! This is the first year I do not think I will be at Kohl's at opening. Sad day :(
  5. Does anyone know about the Game Spy 4.0 Camera on the front page for $99.99? It is good quality and any other reviews would be helpful. My boyfriend has been wanting one but I know nothing about them and I do not want to ask him because I want it to be a total surprise if I go that route!
  6. Oster is a good brand.

    The functionality of doing 1, 1.5 or 2 lb. loaves

    The baking pan is horizontal, rather than vertical. The loaves have a nicer shape

    Dough settings as well as jam setting

    The lid is not a huge dome, which causes condensation and lessens the browning

    and the removable lid is nice for cleaning.

    The price is also good for an Oster brand.

    If you end up getting it, let me know if you would like some recipes. I use my bread machine at least 3 times a week. :)

    I would love some recipes if you do not mind pm'ing them to me or however works for you! I am def. going to get one in the near future and I would love some recipes that other people have had success with. Thank you!!

  7. Does anyone know when the BF ads get shipped to the stores? I know some stores have them available so that means they get there before the fact. I have been told that CVS for example gets their regular ads like two weeks in advance and they just sit in boxes in the back. Does this happen at stores with BF ads? I want to know when I can start questioning employees about them with a chance that they might have actually seen them ;)
  8. I live in Central PA and we have Bon-Ton's all over the place here. I did not think they were regional but they may be since I saw the Bon-Ton add has never been leaked early on this site (or at least not that I saw looking at the past release dates). I love there BF sales and was just wondering if anyone knows why it never hits here early?

    Santa's Easy Whoopie Pies

    Makes: about 12 sandwich cookies

    Prep: 30 minutes

    Bake: 10 minutes/batch

    Ingredients

    * 1 package 2-layer-size yellow cake mix

    * 1/3 cup butter, melted

    * 2 eggs

    * 1/4 cup water

    * 3 tablespoons red, green, and white edible confetti sprinkles

    * 1/2 16-ounce can vanilla frosting (3/4 cup)

    * 1 3-ounce package cream cheese, softened

    Directions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line two large cookie sheets with parchment paper; set aside. In a large bowl, stir together cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and the water with a wooden spoon until smooth and thick.

    2. For each cookie, drop dough from rounded measuring tablespoons 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheets. Sprinkle dough mounds with confetti sprinkles. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned and edges are set. Transfer cookies to a wire rack; let cool.

    3. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the frosting and cream cheese until thoroughly combined.

    4. Spread a rounded tablespoon of frosting mixture on the bottom half of each of the cookies, spreading to the edges. Top with the remaining cookies, flat sides down, pressing cookies together lightly. Makes about 12 sandwich cookies.

    To Store: Layer unfilled cookies between sheets of waxed paper in an airtight container; cover. Store at room temperature for up to 3 days or freeze up to 3 months. To serve, thaw cookies if frozen. Assemble as directed in Steps 3 and 4. For filled cookies, wrap individually in plastic wrap. Chill up to 2 days or freeze up to 3 months.
