My dd is 7 (also have a ds that is 10) and we have had both the Wii and the Kinect since the day each came out and I would have to say that the Wii doesn't even compare to the Kinect in our house. The Kinect is so much easier for her and I (who are not big gamers) to control and actually play than the Wii. You don't have to worry about which button on the remote that you are supposed to be pushing, whether or not your remote has batteries, etc because the Kinect has no remote. There are so many fun games for the family on both systems but our family game nights are always on the Kinect now. We love the Dance Central games, Wipeout, all of the Sports games and the one that puts you into the scene of the movie (so you are actually acting). I think I just saw that the Kinect is on sale at Best Buy. Either way, I hope you all love it. Good luck!

Nope, I am done with TRU. I have shopped on Old Navy, Kohl's, Amazon, Dick's Sporting Goods and Radio Shack between last night and today and had no problems AND paid no shipping. What I was trying to get on TRU is not worth wasting my time trying to check out and not such a great deal with the ridiculous shipping that they wanted to charge!

Is anyone else having problems with the website? I cannot get through the checkout process - I just keep getting a blank screen! Ugh!

I am right there with ya! Amazon, earlier sales at Target and free shipping from American Girl have me to the point where I don't even need to go out on Black Friday! But I probably will because it is tradition and I have always done it! I am trying to get a friend to come with me that is not done shopping for her 4 kids so I have something to shop for. And the best part is that I will be spending someone else's money! :)

I would have someone watch online as well. I know that some of TRU's deals were available online last year but not sure about the doorbusters...

The worst around here is TRU. Last year I went with 4 friends, so we all talked about what we were looking for while we stood in line to get in to TRU. Just before we were let in, we grabbed a cart from someone who had just come out. One friend took the cart and immediately got in line to check out while the rest of us shopped and brought things to the cart. Since we all knew what each other were looking for we could grab things for each other while we were trying to manuever through the store. We took turns standing in line with the cart and by the time we were all done we were at the front of the checkout line. Worked like a charm! Unfortunately, I could not get any of them to go to any of the other stores with me... I like the idea of taking some reuseable bags for the stores where I am just looking for little items. I will definitely do that!

They won't let you use the Justice Bucks and the 40%, right? I have a ton of Justice Bucks that will need to be used over the next month and it seems like everytime I am in there either the entire store is 40% off or I have a 40% off coupon...

Now we need an Amazon "insider" to leak what the deals are gonna be! :)
