my show idea would be like a PAX OR LIFETIME show about a girl who really want to help people but doesn't really have money or the means. She friviously finds people in her community to help all the while winning stuff on gottadeal.com and finding deals on things thru the website. She even goes to the freebie forum in search of goodies for the homeless. Every week she touches the live of one individual through her simple searches with gottadeal.com...

Have a recipe contest but the catch is you have to only use ingredients that are the first letter letter of each letter in Gottadeal. So there can only be 9 ingredients and like for example the first ingredient could be granola, second oranges and etc. Yummiest and most creative wins

I would say really i'm a newbie because this year i'm going to multiple stores and usually I only go to a few or one who has something i really want. So i hope that for me that i can at least not have to deal with any disgruntal customers or people who steal out of others baskets. i really don't want to get in any fights. I hope the stores have at least an good amount of stock so i can at least get what i need maybe a thing of two of things i just plain want. I can imagine i'm gonna need an energy drink or need to start drinking coffee for the event so i can be quick. Well see i've got my fingers crossed

Hi, I'm Jennifer, married 1 year since the 6th of this month. i'm a stay at home mom for right now, with two kids. Daughter 7 and son 5. I started on this site first by lurking around in the freebies section about a year ago then about 6 months into it i thought i'd join. Been in love with the site ever since, now i'm all over the place from the freebies to the the contest, to the black friday ads. I'm preparing for BF early this year and mapping out my places to go... I usually just go no planning and end up a little frazzled by the end of the day. Hoping this year to get alot accomplished and hey maybe ALL my Christmas shopping done. (yeah right) thats wishful thinking. lol

thanks i called and got on the list, my kids love looking at this book and circling the things they want out of it.

i usually only carry about 150.00 on me and the rest my bank credit/debit card. Really I only use the cash for lunch and snacks.

I wish they would have door prizes for coming. Like every 100th customer gets a $5.00 gc to their store. Even while people are waiting in line they could give the first hundred or so a form to fill out and call names randomly for prizes like gc's or even coffee and doughnuts. Would definitely make me want to hang around to see if i won.

I agree persistance and patience pays off, not to mention the realization that you are not gonna win everything you enter.

I agree, lines are worth it when you come home with a deal that you could never get any other time of the year. I would also try online too. Sometimes they post deals before bf and let you get them early.

Louisville, KY for me... I just go where ever like walgreens, walmart, kmart, meijer, they are all real close so i can hit them fast.

oh my gosh i never even knew that place existed. that would be a fun trip. we live a couple of hours away, might have to take a weekend and go see it.

this may sound like a costly idea but my aunt she has kids that are really bad about snooping so she buys a small storage unit for the month of nov. then dec she wraps and puts under tree, but if they are still santa believers then you could also keep them there for dec too.

It will be nice this year getting cards, i swear i send out about a hundred cards and everyone i send them too is always like... I don't send out card. I'm like hello get in the holiday spirit.

I say its alway best to go with a group of people. then the night before find out what everyone is wanting out of the ads and split up the list so everyone goes for one individual thing but picks up enough for everyone in the group that wants it. If everyone is familiar with the store we usually have a meeting place for after we've picked up our hot items.

I deserve a t-shirt because out of all the time I spend on the internet every day 95% of it is on Gottadeal.com, I am truely devoted. I love the shirt. Pick me, pick me
