    Lots of little "favor boxes". They are meant for wedding, but I got some that dont look that specific. Planning to use for my kids to take to school w/ little candies to hand out for Christmas and Valentine's day. Reg $19.99 was 75% off for $4.98.

    Saw something kind of odd today on a markdown sticker. The orange sticker on my solo plates had a 40 in the upper right corner. I always thought that the markdown schedule was 15- 30-50-75 (and occasionally an oddball 70 or 85% on electronics-- very rarely). I've never seen a 40 though and wondered for a minute if they are adjusting the way they do their markdowns. The plates were $2.77 marked to $1.58, which if you do the math is actually 43% off.

     

    Prolly just a mistake in the way that someone entered info into their handheld, but there were several packages there. Might be nice if stuff went from 15 to 40 instead of 30!

    I saw the same solo plates marked 40% at my store as well!

    I got two cereal dispensers the other day for $4.98. I LOVE them. They are air tight to keep freshness and black so matches my kitchen. Perfect as my daughter loves one kind of cereal and my son another. Works great and really is functional.

    I got these on clearance last year for about the same price. They are great if you have kids who eat alot of cereal. We use them every single day and they really do keep the cereal fresh. I definitely recommend them!

    Has anyone's portable ice makers, margarita mania gone 75% off yet. I have been to so many targets these last few days I think I'm tired of going, lol, just can't stay away.

    As of yesterday, they are only 30% here. I am really hoping to get an ice maker at 75%. If anyone sees them even hit 50%, please post. I may buy one at that price just to be sure I get one, then return if I can get it cheaper.

    The thing I always hate about my kids and their digital camera is that they are a bit young to take really decent pictures (5-6), and when they spend time snapping pictures of everything under the sun (dolls, the fish tank, stuffed animals, the cereal box, etc...) they come to me and want me to PRINT their pictures or order them through a print service. It's fine for a few times, but after a while, it gets pricey (and time consuming) printing pictures of things that after 5 minutes of looking at the picture, they no longer care about.

     

    I saw some Dora and Diego digital frames clearanced to $18 each at my store. This could be a good solution to let them see their pictures, but not have to keep footing the bill for ink, paper, or a printing service. The frames could also have the character faceplate taken off so it's just a silver frame for older kids. Combine that with the $5 spongebob camera and it's still a deal @ less than $25 total.

    Just got home and found the deck box bench that I'd been watching for weeks now. When I first got there, it was still only marked 30% and scanned that way too. So I looked around other aisles and when I was just about to leave, I spotted an employee standing near the bench with a scanner. I "ran" back there and she marked it 75% off. Reg $99 and marked down to $24.98.

     

    Also found the boxes of five 2pks Duracell AA batteries 50% for $2.48. I had three 75c coupons on me so got those even though they were only 50%. $1.73a/c for 10 batteries is good enough. Last time I saw those, I waited for them to go lower and then they all disappeared.

    Backpacks and lunchboxes still only 30% here today.

     

    BUT, they were marking all school supplies down. It went straight from 30% to 75%.

    Lots of stuff to be had. Our target had 2 aisles of stuff.

    same here. really a bummer! We just haven't had squat for a while.

    I did overhear one of the employees talking that there were going to be tons of markdowns in the domestic dept tomorrow. Our target is in the middle of being renovated and that's where they have all the lunch boxes and backpacks. So I'm crossing my fingers that tomorrow they mark them down lower than 30%. I'd love to see them go straight to 75%.

    For those of you who picked up the Target brand 12pk of glue sticks for $.74, does yours have dates on the sticks? I just noticed mine are stamped 3/18/08, does that mean they expired on 3/18/08 and probably won't work or they were made 3/18/08? Not sure if the date even matters. BTW, they are now ringing up $3.99 at my Target.

    I just looked and mine say that too. I'm not sure since I haven't opened any yet. But I think it must be the date they were made. I saw the same glue sticks at a 2nd target as they were unpacking them from a new box with all the other school supplies.

    And yes, it does appear that they've caught onto that mistake. Both stores near me now have them for $3.99.

    Most toys were marked 50% today at the store here (although the signs still said 30%). And they're working on getting them into clearance aisles. I'm not certain, but if I had to bet, I'd say they'll go 75% off in 2 weeks.

     

     

    Still lots of outdoor cushions, umbrella stands, sunny patch, etc sitting there at 75%. I was surprised at how much was left 2 days after it was marked down.
