Found Dirt Devil 15.6 V gators (like a dust buster) not marked, but ringing up 9.99. They have a 10v on the shelf as well that is $29.99. I looked up the 15.6V and they seem to be selling for the $40ish range everywhere so I think they were 75% off.
Also found a 7.5qt pressure cooker for $8.24 (reg $32).

Was at a different Target today and they also had backpacks 75% off. They were getting picked over though. (maybe ours got marked down sooner than others since kids here have been in school since Aug 10).
All other school items were still 30-50%
Also saw wicker hampers 75% ($12-14), trash cans 75%, and a few decorative items.

Just came from Target and backpacks were all 75% off. Not sure when they were marked down since I was just there yesterday and they were 50%. Still a pretty big selection of backpacks.
I got one for each of my kids for next year for about $3 each plus also found a couple rolling packs (wont work for school, but work great as luggage for short trips) for $4.

If anyone has one of those intex type swimming pools, today I found two of the gallon bottles of liquid chlorinator / shock treatment. The shelf tag was marked $4.14 and they scanned that way too. I could be wrong, but I think this was last year's clearance price. This stuff is usually more than that.

Found a TAG book by Leapfrog for $3.28 on clearance. I had a $5 coupon from newspaper(P&G) insert. The cashier said store doesn't allow coupons on clearance items. I asked manager to assist. She said couldn't use coupon since it was higher than amount of item. I asked her to adjust coupon and she adamantly refused saying it is store policy. Is this everywhere?
I'd write an email to corporate explaining what happened.
I too had a problem trying to use a coupon on a clearance item that was less than the cpn amt. I was told no by the cashier, head cashier, and LOD.
Corporate sent me an email w/ that specific coupon policy in black and white, which I now carry with me and pull out to show them when I need to.

Were they the large ones in the household area or the smaller ones near the pharmacy stuff?
sorry. should have mentioned that. These were the large ones in the houseware type items. I think they were all Holmes brand. Sorry, I didn't get any dcpi #'s since I didn't need any.

Today I saw cool and warm mist humidifiers 75% off. They were $9 - $10 each.
Also, check the jewelry counter. They marked down alot of the nice necklaces and bracelets 75%. They varied in price, but looked like some good buys.

I am so angry at Target... I went to Target with the intention on just getting the Crayola things. I was planning on donating them to my sons' teacher. Well, I found 2 backpacks someone had mentioned earlier and a color wonder. It rang up 'NOT FOUND' so I told the lady at the register that it's 75% off and that I had bought some from another Target for 2.49. She said she had to check and came back and told me that it's full price. WHAT!!!!! I walked out very upset.. A lot of times they don't give me a hard time about it, but this time they gave me an attitude about it. I always thought if I find an item that comes up 'NOT FOUND', it's automatically 75% off. Do they really pull those from the shelf?
I feel your pain. I found 2 of those backpacks today. After spending a week home w/ sick kids, I thought these would be perfect to cheer them up. Scanned them, and got INF. Also found a cute silicone cupcake mold that made flower cupcakes . . . again INF. The store I happened to be at has given me issues in the past when items ring up like that, and I wasn't in the mood or frame of mind to fight a battle. so I left it all laying by the scanner.

Was at my store @ 8am along with some other man who literally RAN back to toys only to look at the signs and he left. lol I hung out for a few and about 5 minutes later, they rolled out the markdown carts so I started loading my cart w/ what I wanted. lol His loss!
Most everything went to 75% off here. Just an occasional thing that is still left at 50%. Everything I had put in my cart went 75% today.

I just looked at last Jan. 2008 thread and people weren't reporting in until about 11am that they were finding things. So maybe later in the day we will hear things.
Well, I know last year, I was there at 8am and they were marking down stuff first thing. I spent probably an hour or more at the store, loaded my car, went home, unloaded, headed to a different store and did the same thing. I didn't even get home to bother reporting until late morning / early afternoon. so that could also play a part in why people didn't report right off the bat last year. (just a thought)

I just got back.
It doesn't look like toys are going 75% here today. There were alot of people working in the aisles, but they were working on putting out NEW toys. they had tons of flatbeds full of brand new stuff to put out. There was only 1-2 employees w/ scanners and they were being used to scan the new stuff to find price / location, etc.
I hung out for about 30 minutes and then left siince it didn't look like anything was happening today. I'll be there bright and early (two kids in tow) again tomorrow.

Last year my stores jumped from 30% straight to 75%.

For anyone wondering about toys today, I stopped in at one store that I was near just to check. They're still at 30-50% off and no activity in that area that I could tell.
Markdowns are being done in baby and kids, but I didn't stay around long enough to see what % those things were going.

I'll be checking on Wednesday since toys here usually get marked on that day. but if it's a no-go that day, then I'll be going back first thing on Thursday. I think it's definitely one of those two days.

I got to the store at about 8:45 this morning and got really excited when I saw tons of employees in the aisles w/ scan guns. But they were only marking SOME toys to 50% off, and the rest were still staying at 30% today. They're also still moving alot of toys out of regular aisles to the clearance aisles and end caps.
I'm thinking next Wednesday or Thursday since last year, about a week passed after they consolidated toys and had a good mix of mostly 30% and some 50% toys in the aisles.
And then most things jumped from 30% to 75% overnight.

So I am wondering if toys will go straight to 75% next week - or do 50% 1st???? Was it this summer that they skipped the 50%?
Last January my stores skipped 50% altogether. It went straight from 30 to 75.

Has anyone found these canopies for this price? I have found them for $49.95 and my husband wants to get one but I told him that someone on gottadeal got one of $24.98 and we should keep looking. We have looked in SC, GA and FL and they are all $49.95. I may have to get one at this price before they are all gone.
I found one of these in FL about 3 or 4 weeks ago but didn't need it. It was marked down to $24. They're long gone in the stores near me.

The coupon on the clearance box of wipes I bought was for a free 8 pk of Juicy Juice juice boxes w/ purchase of Huggies wipes. It didn't specify any size wipes, just that you purchased Huggies Wipes. It was a Target coupon.
You're right! my bad . . was doing it from memory, lol.
The coupon is a Target coupon exp 12/31/08. States Free 8pk 4.23oz Juicy Juice w/ purchase of Huggies Baby wipe.
I'll edit my original post to correct.
Anyway, could still be a good deal since they dont list any size wipes required. So maybe travel size Huggies wipes and get free juicy juice.

I found them on an endcap since they were on clearance. But even if not clearance priced at your store, maybe worth taking a stroll down the regular aisle. (btw, all the ones I saw were on the white refill package 504ct sensitive skin type). They weren't a box, but rather a plastic "bag" with refills inside. Since it doesn't specify any size wipes, it makes me wonder if it would work with a travel size, and then get a free package of Juicy Juice.

Found Huggies wipes refill packages (504 wipes in package)50% off for $6.xx and, one them there were peelies for a FREE Juicy Juice 8pk 4.23oz juice boxes w/ purchase of huggies wipes. It is a Target coupon that expires 12/31/08 and does NOT state any size Huggies wipes required. So, keep an eye out and look at those wipes refill packs!!

Today the "green" dot dollar items were 30% off. The sign said until the 29th. I have never noticed it to go 30% first. Does anyone know if it will be 50% on thurs instead of the usual 75% off?
It has always been 50% off on sunday, then 75% off on the following thursday. Did they change it?
Ours was 50% off green dot this morning.

Was at the store about 30 minutes after they opened. I was the only person back there, and employees were in the process of marking things. There was tons of things to be had, but I left only buying a few things. (not much I saw that my kids either didn't already have, or was in the right age group).
