  1. Oooh! Thanks! I was planning on buying an LCD HDTV for my parents as a thank you gift for letting me live with them rent-free for a year. Their TV is around 12 years old and is losing color. This really helps out! WooHoo!
  2. My boyfriend got me the KitchenAid mixer that's usually $350 for only $120 because of a misprint in an ad. Would've only been $90 as he also had a $30 rebate, but his dad cashed the check and kept the money for himself.
  3. Everyone's short on cash right now (new babies, new jobs, home repairs, etc) so myself and my immediate family are doing secret santas! The grandbabies are free-for-all - 3 YO niece, 3 week old niece, and 6 month old nephew. The Short List is: Boyfriend Boyfriend's sister Boyfriend's mother My grandmother (flowers, of course!) My secret santa (older brother) My parents (we're getting a family portrait of me, my brothers, and their families done) Dad's secretary (she's like family to me) IF I get my new job, I'll probably have to buy for some people at work.
  4. I have used many coffee makers, and by far the one I like best is my Senseo. It brews one or two cups only and I don't have to measure out anything because all the coffee comes in prepackaged pods (good for college/apartments). There are also a BUNCH of different coffee flavors (I like the French Vanilla and the mild roast). You can usually pick up the pods at WalMart for ~$3.50 for 18 pods. If you don't want to pay the full store price, you can access it through ShareSenseo. Here's the link: https://www.sharesenseo.com/q6/1.jsp from one of the forums http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=90164 If you just answer that you love coffee, everyone wants to know what you think, and that you're very social, you can get access to the order form. It's only $15 since you only pay for shipping. I got mine in about 2 weeks. Mods, if I'm not allowed to do the hyperlinking here, just give me a heads-up! :-)
  5. I was in Kohls today and saw post-it notes on TONS of clothing stands that read "Clearance 2-4". There were a lot of winter clothing stands with these post-its, and most of the employees were moving the 'clearance' merchandise around and condensing items. Since spring clothing was already being stocked on the floor, I'm assuming it means Kohls will be moving lots of winter stuff to the Clearance Sections.
  6. I doubt it. I once tried to buy a Wii game advertised as $10 cheaper in a Circuit City flier. I called WalMart, who said they would match it, but when I got to the store with the flier, the electronic department refused, even though customer service had patched me through to the department on the phone earlier.
  7. For anyone who lives in central Ohio: Marion gas (pretty much all across town) - $2.77/gal Columbus gas - $2.83/gal 23N in Delaware - $2.86/gal
