  1. HDMI on Amazon They say they're all the same but DH has an addiction with Monster Cables so that's what we got. They're a little expensive but overall pretty good.
  2. That may be the best option since you basically get a game for an extra $10. On another note the only other way is to get them cheaper may be buying from a marketplace vendor on amazon or buying it used, otherwise they're all $39.99 no matter what store you go to.
  3. which 50" samsung are you looking at? they have quite a few on there.
  4. DH and I also bought a Samsung 46" 1080p LCD and paid $1689 at Amazon. The reviews were pretty good and I must say that they are right. Samsung LNT4661F I think you got a good deal on the Philips since I've never seen that model for under $1700.
  5. Thank you. I'm gonna have to take a trip there tomorrow to get one for DS3. $15 is a steal. Maybe I should call and find out if my Target has it before I rush down there first though. :) Checked and it's not availabe at any of my 3 Targets. Guess I'll just have to stick with ordering it online.
  6. Have you thought about the Sansa Shaker for your DD4? It's a little bit more expensive but I'm thinking of getting one for DS3. I like the fact that they're not bound to earphones which isn't really that great for kids anyway. It has it's own built in speaker and very much kid friendly. It also has an expansion slot to accomodate SD cards. 7. I got Petz Catz 2 but I'm still waiting for the free game, Dewey's Adventure. Did anyone else have this problem?

  9. So far they've been great with DH's account. He pays online via credit card btw. I'm a T-Mobile customer myself.
  10. Updates anyone? For those who bought it and tried it. I'm still debating if I should get it or not especially after reading Marc's post.

  13. Didn't realize that they had it instore. It's available at all my New York City Best Buys. Great. About to call and see if it's actually available so I can pick one up on my way from work.
  14. Was thinking the same thing but remembered that I just paid $49.50 at Abercrombie Kids for DS sleepwear.
  15. Great info, I almost always argue with that computer voice because they always hear what I say wrong. That so irritates me.
  16. Thanks Patty. I've been waiting myself for it to go to this price or less for the PS3 so I grabbed it, already had it for the 360 and PSP. Now everyone will be happy. No more fighting for who gets a turn on the Xbox 360.
  17. Easily remedied. My DH had this same problem. I would suggest still buying the game unless you've had your 360 for more than 3 years. Here for Xbox Support. Taken from Xbox website: Xbox 360 Warranty Coverage Expanded REDMOND, Wash. — July 5, 2007 —Microsoft Corp. today announced that it will expand its global Xbox 360™ warranty coverage. Any Xbox 360 customer who experiences a general hardware failure indicated by three flashing red lights will now be covered by a three year warranty from date of purchase. All other existing Xbox 360 warranty policies remain in place. As a result of what Microsoft views as an unacceptable number of repairs to Xbox 360 consoles, the company conducted extensive investigations into potential sources of general hardware failures. Having identified a number of factors which can cause general hardware failures indicated by three red flashing lights on the console, Microsoft has made improvements to the console and is enhancing its Xbox 360 warranty policy for existing and new customers. Microsoft stands behind its products and is taking responsibility to repair or replace any Xbox 360 console that experiences the “three flashing red lights” error message within three years from time of purchase free of charge, including shipping costs. Microsoft will take a $1.05 billion to $1.15 billion pre-tax charge to earnings for the quarter ended June 30, 2007 for anticipated costs under its current and enhanced Xbox 360 policies. "The majority of Xbox 360 owners are having a great experience with their console and have from day one. But, this problem has caused frustration for some of our customers and for that, we sincerely apologize," said Robbie Bach, president of Microsoft’s Entertainment & Devices Division. "We value our community tremendously and look at this as an investment in our customer base. We look forward to great things to come." For any customer who has previously paid for repair expenses related to the three flashing lights error message on the Xbox 360 console, Microsoft will retroactively reimburse them. At 2:30 p.m. PDT today, Microsoft will hold a teleconference for financial analysts and investors with Robbie Bach, president of Entertainment and Devices, Chris Liddell, senior vice president and chief financial officer, and Frank Brod, corporate vice president and chief accounting officer to discuss today’s announcement. The call will be available for playback beginning approximately one hour after the conclusion of the call through 5 p.m. PDT on Thursday, July 12. To access the playback, U.S. residents can dial +1-866-363-4143, and those outside the United States can dial +1-203-369-0210. An audio webcast of the conference call will also be made available at the Investor Relations site at http://www.microsoft.com/msft. Xbox 360 customers with questions should visit www.xbox.com. About Microsoft Founded in 1975, Microsoft (NASDAQ “MSFT”) is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential.
