My opinion is....If you can wait...Don't buy ANYTHING until Black Friday... From T.V's to vaccum cleaners, nothing beats Black Friday prices! Of course, if you're shopping for lots of stuff, you'll need a crew to help you. Plus... it's the thrill of getting the bargin

We bought one 2 years ago. Bonzi or something like that. My kids were 10 and 6 at the time. The WHOLE neighborhood was over!LOL But, being boys, they soon got bored with just slidding down. They started doing flips and things. It got hard to control! So we put it away for a few weeks. When we took it back out, it didn't work as well. The air didn't stay in it. You could hear it leaking from the seams. Then the part that holds the hose broke. So we had to tie it around. It never made it to a second season. I don't know if the construction has improved since then.... But $400 is alot of $$. If they were $99, I might consider another one. But not for $400.

I've had nothing but problems with my printer since I put in the refilled ink. Now it won't make a copy. I have to scan something, then print it. WTH?

Just heard Wicks Furniture is going out of business.

I told my kids "no more soda" at restaurants becasue of the $. I only allowed them soda on pizza night or when we go out to eat. So now they have a new drink,... milkshakes. UGH, I'd rather pay for the soda then 3 or 4 bucks for a milkshake!

I think the gaming chairs retail for 89.99 also. I went today and got one for my nephew for his b-day. They still have one left.

I went to Goodwill in Joliet, IL today. It's great because they get Target stuff. Anyway, I picked up a Zune Amplified Speaker System for $39.99, (Which was great because I missed the Woot one last month) They had 2 Guitar Hero Wii and one Guitar Hero for PS3. They were $74.99. I couldn't believe it!! Goodwill??? Who would've thought!! They also had 3 of those Gaming Chairs with speakers for $34.99, and a full size ping pong table for $29.99 ( I would have bought it, but I have no where to put it!) I'm very excited about the Zune speakers. I already checked them out and they work great!

No issues with ours either, maybe you can return at original store for same title? My boys can't wait for the extra guitar either!

Well like I said, Lesson learned. I hope our experience made those who didn't know that they do open the "new" games better consumers in the future. As for the games, my boys traded games with a couple of friends, their happy...at least for now... By the way when I called the gamestop manager, he said that it was their policy to open the games. I told him that they should tell the customer est. value before opening. He said 'Sorry' and that's about it. SOOOO, like I said lesson learned. If I could turn back time, we definitely would have chosen a different option. I just thought I'd post our experience to let others know because there are probably people out there who got doubles or unwanted games (and don't want to ask the giver for receipt) Gamestop is NOT the best option for brand new game trades. I wouldn't say amazing but Target has buy 2 cases of Huggies or pampers and get a $5 giftcard.

How is that Fraud?? Isn't that the whole concept of GameStop??? And also, as stated before, I used a GIFTCARD for the purchase at Target. That's why I didn't do the cash. But you all seem to be missing the point, which was..."If you are returning/trading a game at Gamestop, they will open the game seal, and then you will not be able to return it to the original store, so find out their offer, before you let them break the seal."

My son thought he would get full credit for them because they were brand new. He likes store credit so he doesn't get tempted to spend $ on something else. I take the whole experience as a lesson learned. I do think they should tell you the price before they open it. At target, I had used a giftcard to purchase part of the total, so I thought they'ed be better off as well by trading for store credit at gamestop, (because they want the palystation3) Boy was I wrong!! It justs sucks...Just wanted to give other people a heads up if they're wanting to trade any unwanted Christmas games.

So my youngest wanted to return a Nicktoons DS game, and my oldest, a Spiderman Wii game. Neither were ever opened and still sealed. Both games were originally purchased at Target for a total of $45. My sons have been trading in games for store credit at Gamestop for about 6 months now, trying to save for a Playstation 3. They have about $160 in store credit so far. So they decided to trade the games at Gamestop for more store credit. The guy does the transaction, and says $13 store credit. $13!!! That's it? For 2 sealed, brand new games! My son says forget it. But the guy broke open the seals to look at the games, now I can't even return them to the original store. That makes me mad. They should tell you the value before they break the seals.

My son has been a Madden fan, gets one every year. This year we got him Madden 08 for the wii, and he doesn't care for it. He says the graphics are bad, the controls aren't great, he was dissapointed in it.
