We did the tv's a couple of years ago, stood there next to the pallet waiting for them to unwrap them. I felt kinda dumb really. This year all I'm trying to do online is board games for a local charity Santa-the cheaper I can get them, the more I can get. We hand out 2 board games per family depending on their ages, got oodles of Chutes and Ladders but need the older kid games like BattleShip, Monopoly and so on. So I'm waiting...

Is that the bigger harddrive, she didn't want the 4gb, she got whatever the bigger one is. Told ya I didn't pay attention just know it's bigger. My eyes were starting to glaze over w/ the all the options she's thrown at me. LOL.. she's great at shopping for the deals but just find it and get it, don't tell me Gamestop, Best Buy, Walmart, yadda yadda.. get it already

My 23yr old dd has been studying the xbox sales and went w/ the Best Buy deal online and built her own bundle. She sold all her wii stuff to be able to buy it so she could get the kinect thingee. I'm not up w/ the xbox so all I know is she is happy w / her deal. :)

I am guessing that the board games at $6.88 will NOT be online for BF?

We did a compatability search this morning because the guitar died.. WII RB guitar isn't compatable w/ other guitars--that we found--the xbox stuff is .. or at least some of are said to be. Just google it.. We bought dd the wii game console this summer so she could play Rock Band.. if you buy ANYTHING you need to consider the extended warranty from whomever you buy it from. This past weekend we had company coming and she was excited to have other people to play RB with. She'd just played it last week so all was good. One day the guitar was working--the next day nada, zippo, zilch! Dead and wouldn't sinc to the system. Went through all the troubleshooting.. turns out they've had some issues with it but are gonna fix or replace.. NOPE.. a lousy 60 day warranty.. and Walmart is 90--3 weeks out of Walmarts warranty.. sheesh... Now we are looking at Guitar Hero World tour.. AND I'm returning the AC/DC fan pack to help defray some of the cost..

DH and I "Chuck" fans from the first... we dvr the show every week.. Big Mike put the smack down on that big guy! Totally cool!

Back in the spring we bought Samsung LN52A650 52-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV from Amazon. DH had studied for months on which tv he wanted-we were replacing a 48" big tv that we'd had for about 12.5 yrs. We LOVE it.. Picture is crisp and clear, none of that jumping you see with some of the tvs and sports. Today when we went to Walmart to get the little Emerson for $388 we ended up getting another Samsung for our dd's room as well as a new one for our bedroom. So now we'll have the papa tv, mama tv and baby tv.. Then I started w/ the buyer's remorse so not sure if I'm keeping the one for our room or not.. According to the different price differences, the one for my room is a deal w/ abot $450 in savings..

Geez louise what a pain in the butt!!! Dh has been watching a tv at Amazon for over a year waiting on the price to get right.. This weekend he was all excited because it finally hit his price due to a rebate of $200. I go to make the order and the rebate has now changed to a gift card for Mounted Memorabilia! What in the world?? Who gives a flip for that--we (along w/ bunches of others that saw the original rebate offer) wanted our cash! Calling does no good but the price is still excellent so we go for it using the 24 months no interest w/ Amazon card. Great.. until I DH gets home to look at the order to see that the cart has the newer model tv--wanted last years model, and 2 wall mounts for the tv not just 1 as was in the cart? Now I'm really saying WTH!!?? Open the order email and the tv he WANTED--last years model--is in the order but the 2 wall mounts are still there. Call to get that changed--holy crap what a PITA talking to people that have accents stronger than cuban coffee!! After explaining the situation the nice young man puts me on hold for about 5 mins to come back and tell me he could not revise the order but had to cancel it altogether and make a new order w/ the correct items (still getting the right tv :) ) and that everything should be correct now. Fine.. whatever--get the confirmation email that yes, the order is made but now they're not accepting the amazon card since I'm over my limit! Of course I'm over the limit because the other order is still showing up.. why?? no clue.. CALL again.. now I've been told that yes, the order is cancelled and yes it may take a few HOURS for this to correct itself and that I'll get a new email w/ the confirmation of the order.. All this started on Sunday afternoon.. Now, at 3:30 Monday I've still not gotten it straight until I call yet again to explain my plight. Guy says he's sure that the charge is now $0 and I should call and tell them to put it through again. Nice young lady says I see the order is completely cancelled and we'll put it through again.. Voila.. in only a couple of minutes I've got a confirmation email that the charge has gone through.. whew.. I've never had any kind of problem w/ ordering like this before--even w/ Tiger Direct when we got my dad a new tv and the dern thing wouldn't turn on! Called and got a RTA and off it went.

went ahead and registered..we'll see what happens with that.

Last year for my parents I made each of them a 12 by 12 scrapbook page with pictures of them from high school to present day. I bought a shadowbox frame to put them in.. what's funny though this year is now my mom can not find them--she took the pages out to put in a book and has misplaced them. I could kill her since dummy me (still learning) did NOT make copies of the pictures I used and gave her the originals. :mad: but if you are into scraping at all, even the littlest scrapbook is a great idea..
