This is the first year I haven't bought a single item at Amazon. I think though they talk big numbers they aren't doing as good as previous years. My gf works at Amazon and they have been sending people home mid shift for the last few days because there is not enough work. Previous years they would be on mandatory overtime starting last week. I will say I was pleasantly surprised this year. Every single thing I wanted from the ads were available online. We were walking through the stores and found myself saying "got that online", "got this online". LOL Tap'd from my 7+

Did anyone notice that most of the stores had a surplus of the cheap big screen TVs? Target, Walmart and Best Buy had plenty several hours after opening. I'm sure the cheapest of the cheap were gone. But those fall into the "get what you pay for" category. Tap'd from my 7+

Just did another quick order of a cheap Xbox One game for in store pick up. Tap'd from my 7+

Looks like all the big retailers are selling the basic XBOX One S online. That is a good thing. I bought a Halo bundle online at Walmart a few days ago because I wasn't sure if they would. And didn't want to have to fight crowds for one. My bundle deal actually came out better than the BF basic console price. Bundle was $249 with Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty. The games came on a separate receipt so I am returning CoD for $39. Takes the price of the Halo console and Battlefront 2, which I planned on getting anyway down to $210. So if you subtract the price of BF and the Halo games off, my console cost around $100. Tap'd from my 7+

This was the first year in many that I didn't have Elite status. I found the selection very disappointing. In previous years I was able to get everything in the ad I wanted on early access. This year I only got a disposable printer. I was looking for Gears of War 4, the Skullcandy Method wireless ear buds, Wonder Woman on 4k and the Onkyo receiver. Non were available. Most of the 4k movies available were sold out only one minute into the sale. Though a few came back in stock late today. I was up because I work third shift. I would not have been happy if I stayed up for the early access. I'm really over Best Buy. Tap'd from my 7+
