  1. Hi Everyone,

I went to Target today to look at the bulk items, the only 30% off I saw is toilet paper, the rest was 15% off. I'll keep checking back.

Also, I looked at the Head and Shoulders Shampoo and the Conditioner in the bulk section, the bottle is 13.5 oz and comes with a free travel size shampoo and free travel size conditioner, and was $4.69. I checked the bottles in the regular shampoo aisle and the 13.5 oz bottles without the free travel sizes were $3.99! So in actuality the FREE travel sizes aren't Free!!!:yuck: Stuff like this really annoys me!

Isn't it interesting how you don't realize how much you've purchased until you type everything out!:tongue1:

ps. The store in Boulder still had half a row of 75%off toys. Most of the Sporting Goods that had been 30% off were 50% off except for a couple of items. Some of the Winnie the Pooh baby stuff was 50%, I'd say about 60-70% of the Pooh baby stuff was on clearence.

    Have a great weekend!

  2. BBBRRR it was cold today! An 18 degree high has me dreaming of warmer days!

I saved $10.00 with coupons. They always take so long to sort through but it's worth it. On the toothpaste & sandwich bag multi packs, I was able to use coupons that said buy 2 and get $1.00 off.

Hope you got to talk to your brother in Iraq.

Got to talk to my brother, Woohoo!:D We only talked for a few minutes, his connection was bad. It iss always great to hear his voice!:fluffy:

    Great savings with coupons!

I think I read we're going to have a low of -2 tonight. Oh My! I'll be sure to let the faucets drip, to help prevent freezing pipes. Yuck!

    Have a great night!

  3. Thank you DealGrabber and traveljunkie!

I will go through my coupons and see what I can use.:yup:

    GREAT JOB!!!:yup:

  6. It amazes me how long it takes Walmart to mark things down. I remember seeing this bed and bath set, bright colors/Gerbera Daisies, And every time I went in there, there was that set. And by every time I mean once a month or so. So for at least 7 months that set was the same price and then one day it was gone. I hadn't planned on buying it, It was just soo bright that I couldn't help, but notice it. It became a game for me when I would go to the store. "Lets see if they marked it down yet":D

I've stopped shopping at Walmart and I wish I could say it was because of the way they do business, but in actuality its because I don't like the store. Their prices are not that good, the service is awful, and the store is not convienent for me at all.

I LOVE Target, its a little scary actually, how often I am there:D:shock: . I find better deals and better quality on many items and they are very convienent for me.

  7. The room in my basement is so full it is crazy, don't feel bad, I have all the holidays and birthdays done and all of their friends birthdays done. My husband understands but I think he wants me to stop now, I'm not sure if i'm gonna tell him about all the stuff I got today at target and JC pennys. But with 3 kids when everyone is going crazy during the holidays, I'll be able to sit back and relax and bake cookies!:)[/QUOTE]

When the holidays roll around it can be soo difficult to just spend time with your loved ones. Shopping can be draining when you have a bunch of people to shop for and when you are worrying about your budget. I'm sure with preparing for the holidays early, you will be less stressed.:yup: I know I am.

Most of the stuff I picked up is for the Angel Trees for next year. We gave to 3 children this Christmas and with the toy clearence and shopping through out the year we will be able to give gifts to soo many more children. We always give clothing, books and things they will need through out the year as well as a toy. Being able to spend less on the toys and get great toys, allows me to spend more on the things they need.

  8. I feel the same way! I have a "Gift closet" that is dedicated only to gifts and I usually have it 25% full of actual gifts. Well, last night, I had to figure out ways to place things to get more in like a big closet puzzle! It is packed FULL and still more left over that may end up in the attic! I have never been this stocked this early! And it feels great to know that I saved a TON of money! My husband does not understand. He is like "I can't believe you spent $100 at Target on gifts for next Christmas!". He will understand when Brithdays and Christmas rolls around and we dont have to spend any more money! Thanks GottaDeal.com!!!!!:2elephant

And it seems no matter how you explain it to them they still don't get it!;) My husband was making me crazy the other day. I reminded him that I'm the one who shops and buys all the gifts and that I know a great deal when I see one.:D:yup:

    :DTarget Clearence Shoppers Unite!:D

  9. Hi BoulderChick! And hi Kara1204- my mom lives in Rockvale, outside of Canon City! Nice to see other Colorado gottadealers too- not many of us! Love it here in Colo Spgs- wouldnt want to be anywhere else!

Hi, I feel the same way about Boulder!:D I've noticed that there aren't many Colorado people here, its crazy, but then again, I don't have to fight with a fellow gottadealer over a clearence item.;)

    Have a great day!

  10. I wanted to post that my local Target was nice today. Customers were helping each other find stuff and pointing out deals to each other. My husband helped a few ladies grab stuff off the top shelves:) Even the employees were helping the customers. They would bring up carts to the front at customer service and hold them for the customers. As well as help find toys that customers were looking for.

I saw Butterscotch on a top shelf and I told this lady about it. She was so happy and thanked me a million times, her niece wanted it for Christmas, but her parents couldn't afford to get it so she picked it up for her niece for her birthday this weekend. That made my day,:yup: even though all I did was tell her about it.

I have a feeling that the people who get ugly and greedy at these sales are like that all the time. (The people who claim an entire aisle,or haul off 6 cart loads for ebay)
