  1. Hi my husband has one and travels constantly and my brother has one also, he is in the Army and he and his PSP have survived Afghanistan and Iraq. They have had their PSP's for about 3 years.

    They both have:

    Logitech PlayGear Pocket

    http://www.logitech.com/index.cfm/gaming/psp_playstation_portable/devices/305&cl=us,en

Can be found at Target, Walmart, EB Games, GameStop, etc...

All but one of the links are for Circuit City. Their website seemed to have the most info about the products.

A padded carrying case to hold the PSP is a great idea too. You can find them that hold the PSP system and the games and chargers. I didn't give links to any because, I don't remember which one my husband or brother has and I only want to reccomend products that we've used and have worked for us.

I hope this helps. Have a great day!

  2. Do you have a DPCI for the golf set? Sounds like something for my Godson. He's only almost 3 but he's gone through the plastic ones and loves them so much that his Mom wants to get him a real set!

I'm sorry I don't have it. My husband threw away the box after I got it home. He throws away EVERYTHING.

I found a description online, I hope this helps.

  3. I have a two and half year old little girl and we are really excited this year since she is getting old enough to know whats going on at Christmas time. I have gotten her about 20 gifts. I think that I might have went a little over board. I might have spent around $300 total. I have gotten a lot of items on clearance thoughout the year. I got tons of Barbie's at Kohls, they were 40% off plus I had a 30% off coupon off entire purchase. I got a Barbie town house with two Barbie's for $30.00. I have gotten some gifts on clearance and paid less that $5.00 for some gifts. I am going to give you all my list of items and the prices. Can anyone tell me if I over did it? I am new at this Christmas stuff! About how much money does everyone spend on each child?

Barbie Townhouse $30, Barbie photographer $8, Dora Sit & spin $10, Barbie & horse gift set from Kohls $25, Barbie Island gift set with characters included $18, Diego gift set $10 (was $40), Dora gift set $10 (was $40), Backyardagins gift set $10 (was $40), Barbie bakery $14, Kelly PJ dolls x 2 $1 a piece, Kelly Christmas dolls x 2 $.50 each, Little People Three Kings set $8, Barbie doll car $6, Polly Pocket doll sets x 2 $3.50 each, Barbie cat with carrier $3, Fisher Price Family Dollhouse with Furniture $80, two dvds $10 each, Baby Alive $20, Doctor Kit $10, Baby Car Seat $12, Elefon Game $20, Go Fishing Game $5, Tea Party Set $8. Her granddaddy got her Disney Princess Magic Nursery $80 & baby doll $15.

Sounds like you are having fun. I played with Barbies at that age too. My Mom would open the boxes before she wrapped them and take out all of the small accesories (shoes, hair brush, earrings, hair clips) You may want to do that.

  4. I buy stocking stuffers for my Husband, our Puppy, Mom, Dad and their Puppy, and my Brother.

    Some stocking stuffers I've given in the past have been;

    Favorite Candy

    Mini Books

    Pens

    Notepads

    WD-40 Pen (the boys)

    Tide to go Pen

    Nail Polish

    $5 Starbucks GC

    Toys

    Lip Balm

    Scratch off Lotto Tickets

    Deck of Cards

Post it Notes(in fun styles and colors)

This year I found Notepads with our Favorite College Football teams(Go BUFFS!!!) logo on them and picked them up @ 90% (school supply clearence Office Depot) Typically $8.00 for the big note pads and $3.00 for the small ones.

  5. Wow this looks like fun! Will have to sign up next year (joined Oct 2005, but only have 15 or so posts)

Just a reminder with the list nearing 50 for the card exchange, that stamps will cost you $20.50 and unless you are sending cards that you have hidden away from many years of buying them 90% off after Christmas. That you have the expense of the cards too.

So remember to figure the card exchange into your Holiday budget.

    Have fun! Happy Secret Santa-ing:fluffy:

  6. Contact your local Borders Bookstore. The store in my area is going to have a gift wrap area that they are staffing with individuals and groups. The proceeds will go to your school. You can gather some other Moms and Dads and wrap gifts and fundraise for your school in your Teacher(s) honor as their gift.

    Also check out www.seva.org

    http://www.seva.org/site/PageServer

You can give a "Gift of Service" for $30 you can help fund "Enrichment activities for a Native American Youth" or $25 to provide "Eye care for one Girl or Women" in developing countries. The gift recipient dosen't know the amount you've spent and you can make it a group gift to all of your childrens teachers. (Either request more gift cards or copy them yourself)

Another favorite of mine is "The Womens Bean Project"

    http://www.womensbeanproject.com/

"Since 1989 we have been helping women break the cycle of poverty and unemployment"

They sell bean soup mixes, cornbread mix, salsa and dip seasoning mixes, and many other items. Their bean soup mixes are $5.25 and $5.75 Their spice rubs are $3.00

And when we were kids my Mom would bring us to the local grocery store that sold flowers and we would get our teachers a bouquet of 2 or 3 red Carnations and we would make a card. Our teachers always LOVED them. Just picture your child walking in to class with flowers and a homemade card for their teacher. :)

  7. How about a $5 gift card to Starbucks or a local coffee shop. Starbucks cards are one of my favorite gifts to give and recieve.

Also check out Office Depot and Staples in their Clearence sections. The stores near me still have some school supply clearence left over. And check out the Clearence sections at Target. My Target had 52mb portable hard drives for $2.47

Make the gift extra special by having your daughter make the card. Crayons+Paper and you're all set:)

  8. Yesterday at Target I purchased a NFL Offically Licensed Tailgate Toss for $22.00 orig $88.00. A Boys 7-12 yrs old Right Handed Golf Club set for $12.93 orig $65.00 and two pairs of 180s Ear Warmers for $3.49(as is rectangular orange and white label) orig $14.99 I think they may have gotten in the wrong upc or packaging, because the packages were unopened and they are in perfect condition.
  9. Really the only thing that I "need" is the My Little Pony sets - those are on my Angel Tree girls list. Where is the best place to price match instead of driving 30 minutes out of the way?

    Hi wifeymiller,

You should check out Marshalls, TJ Maxx and/or Ross. I find My Little Pony toys there all the time. Good Luck!

  10. We have been very happy with our Olevia Flat Screen 36" LCD HD tv, and my husband has four in his office at work and that he uses for editing stations, he LOVES them. The picture is Great!!!

What is neat too, is on ours at the house we used the channel "search" feature. Before we did it we just had our 20 or so Standard cable stations, after the "search" we have about 80 stations!

We found ours at Office Depot and ordered it online (40% off but it has been a few months) and picked up his at CompUSA.

I would just keep an eye out on ads and online. We purchased ours during non holiday months and on clearence and they cost less than alot of the BF sales.

Also read up on the differences between LCD and Plasma. Some people at altitude have had issues with Plasma tvs. We are above 5000 feet.

  11. Hi Everyone,

I hope my question makes sense. I'll explain if it doesn't.

Where are the items on sale located on BF? Do they keep them in their normal places? Toys in Toy Section, Blankets in the Linens section. Or do the put them in special places.

I would hate to hustle to the Electronics section only to find out that they put the Xbox 360 games on a endcap at the front of the store.

Thank you all for your time!!!:fluffy:
