Always a good idea to check reviews of games before buying. Especially if the game is being sold very cheap. Of course, sometimes very stupid games can turn out to be a lot of fun. I go to gamefly for reviews. They have customer reviews, and reviews from IGN, Gamespot, and Gamefly "experts". They also have good deals on used games, which are guaranteed to work, and always come with instruction book and original packaging.

Technically, clearance merchandise is not sale merchandise. Sales end, and the prices go back up. Clearance prices continue to drop until everything is sold, or the store writes it off and destroys it. Still, kind of dumb, especially in this economy. Stores should not be sending anyone away unhappy.

Nintendo has increased production on the Wii. I think I read that production is twice what it was last year at this time. But they could still be hard to find as we get closer to Christmas. My Wii Fit has shipped from Amazon, too!

Guitar Hero is great, especially with the bad notes coming right from your guitar, via the wiimote. Simpsons is fun, Mario Party is lots of fun, Mario Galaxy is fun, and I like Trauma Center: New Blood, but you need really steady hands for some parts.
