  1. walmart[/url];1785232]Wow you was lucky. There were some Walmart employees at our store that if they saw you peeking under the plastic or touching the items, they tell you no peeking or touching till 12:01

I wish mine was like that! I was sooo mad that $9.97 crockpot was all gone when I walked in at 11:50 p.m. Obviously they let people take anything they want at 11:30 p.m. or before.

  2. Got the TomTom GPS from Best Buy at 7:45 a.m. on Thursday. I stayed up until 3:00 a.m. waiting for it to update until someone (thankfully) said big items wouldn't update until 7:00 a.m. EST. I set my alarm however I forgot to save it but thankfully my friend called me to let me know it was updated and I got it! Started out at Wal-Mart which we scoped out at 6:00 p.m. and walked in at 11:50 p.m. I'd never been to Wal-Mart ever and when I got there a lot of the 12:01 items were already gone which was frustrating. I missed out on the $9.97 Hamilton Slowcooker and there weren't any more $2.97 Chefmate Hand mixers. Did get the 3 in 1 small vac, the other Chefmate items plus underwear for the husband. It took an hour and 20 minutes to checkout and really wasn't worth it. Think that is my first and last time going and will treat them like Best Buy in the future as an avoid doorbusters at all cost and get what I can on-line.

Then we went home for an hour and after went to Target. Arrived at 3:00 a.m. so had an hour wait. We were still far ahead in line my husband said he was right behind those getting T.V.s if only we had money for those things. Got the two Chefmate items I wanted and my Ninja blender was in and out in 15 minutes which sealed the nail in the coffin for me never going to Wal-Mart. Headed to Meijer which was totally uncrowded easy and simple! They also had in ad coupons for 15% off any item one per transaction. We did 4 transactions to get some things we needed plus the memory cards. We were in and out in 30 minutes (and would've been quicker but we really lollygagged). After hit up CVS for my first transaction, dropped off hubby then went for my second transactin. I bought one of everything that was free after extracare bucks except toothpaste and I now have $26 which I plan to use for the mini camera later today. Still have to hit up Rite Aid but I am at work for 4 hours today so will finish later!

Oh forgot a couple of DVDs on Amazon.com and all the DVD selections at Wal-Mart, Target and Meijer sucked nothing my husband wanted so getting the rest on-line from Amazon.com today. Got one from Meijer actually. I had prebought gift cards for a small discount on ebay for best Buy, ($25), Target ($25 + $5 from doing deals), and CVS ($25) and then had a $50 gift card from Meijer's Super Saturday. It was nice to have very little out of pocket and have pretty much a cap and control on what I spent. Will do that again next year!

  4. Only 10 of the items are on the map. 32 emerson, 32, samsung, emachine laptop, 19 inch tv, 42 inch lg, gps $59, PS3and Xbox together, hp 15 inch laptop, hp 17 inch laptop, and DS lite!!!!!!!!!!!!

all other are around the store!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Each store has a differnt plan based on # of the items and area to make them availible!!!!!

So things lilke DVDs and the cheap kitchen appliances will still be randomly placed around the store and we will not know where until we get there?

  5. They are sure playing around with the price updates. I'm very nervious because now I see something different than what the ad said!

Yes what I want keeps vacilating back and forth it will be the black friday price then I refresh and it is sale price. And still no add to cart button just coming soon.

  6. I want the Sony Vaio $499.99 package with the computer that comes with the bag and movie. Will the whole package come up together when the sale goes live, or will I have to add each item to my cart?

If it is a package it will be all together one click I bought a HP Pavilion laptop package with bag, antivirus software and printer from them online 3 years ago and only had to add the package not things separately.

  7. My husband is planning on getting in line at Target, while I stay and put the kids to bed and wait for the babysitter. Then I was going to join him. We would still be getting the same thing. So do you think if he brings a chair and lets people know I will be coming (he will need to use the bathroom and such), will they get mad? It is not like we are getting two of something. He wants to go for the tv (but will not be heartbroken if we don't get it.) and the hard drive. That is it.

I don't want to make people mad though.

Yes communicating especially the fact that you are both getting just one thing as a family should work.

  8. We want the Dance Central Kinect game from Old Navy...so we were going to drop my husband off at 9 to stand in line there and then the ladies would head over to Toys R Us and come back around 11 to join him in line. Two questions- 1- Is 9:00 early enough to get the game? (my guess is since it's only for Kinect it will be less people than last year, but I've never done Old Navy before). 2- Are people going to get really mad if we jump in line by him at the last minute? What's the etiquette on Black Friday lines? I'm not diehard by any means and don't want to cause a ruckus or anything because I didn't know the "rules." Thanks!

I would say instead of getting there at 9 get there at 8 and stand in line with him for an hour or so while the line forms behind you. Then as the first person mentioned communicate to as many as you can behind and in front alerting them that you are leaving for just a little bit and coming back. I do agree that if you were never in line in the first place you shouldn't jump in and that is possible cause for them to tell all of you to go to the end of the line. But here in MI there are some that camp out and some that switch off, half of the people there has someone in the car warming up and going back and forth and in the end all the people come in. But all the people stand in line first and put some time in so those behind them knows they were there. I don't think dropping someone off is good etiquette.

  9. I was thinking it should have went for less considering it was already 99 and this is lightening deals, lol. Yes its a good discount if you look at the inflated value, I need a cheap gps dont care about any lifetime anything, dd said cheap gps, lol. Looks like I will have to get it at walmart unless that tom tom xl goes way down.

Oh I'm not at all interested in it I am in 100% agreement with what you said. Still debating if I'm getting the one that is going to have lifetime maps on there or wait to see when best buy will have there's online. I really wish the TomTom 345TM would go under $99 to match best buy but with no tax and with prime free shipping!
