well my family does it and we have a $50 limit and it has to be a gift card. we draw names as to who opens theirs first and then the person opening their gift has a choice of keeeping their gift card or taking any of the other people who have opened theirs... the very last person has the best pick of everyones card... in addition to this we have a $5 gift we each buy and do same thing with.. it ends up being really fun and its a game for us so we all have a good time doing it.

Hello, my name is Giselle and I have been married for 8 years and have 3 great kids ages 10,8,6. I have been doing black friday for the past 7 years and I am so looking forward to it this year I just recently moved to long Island NY and my entire family goes shopping on black friday so instead of being alone I have tons of people to go with this year, so that should be lots of fun

no sleep here I am up from the morning cooking my turkey and I hang like that all day the excitement keeps me going.. But after shopping which is usually around noon I am dead tired and ready to crawl in bed

I'm with ya on that one, I cook on wed.. cause hubby works thanksgiving and you know theres no way he can eat a thanksgiving meal and then go to work he would be fast asleep..lol so I always cook on wed. I love getting an early start on thursday:razz:

For the first time I will be going alone, and like others said I think I might enjoy it better.. No one to nag me or rush me or give me a headache and there will be room in my car for all my packages.
