I get all my son's books at either Amazon.com or Half.com. I've found both reliable and alot cheaper than the book store.

My DS has been using Gamefly for a couple of years. They are usually fairly quick to get you games (about a week turn around time from when you send a game back and get another). A couple of times a game got lost in the mail but we contacted them and they were quick to get another game to us. All in all we have been very happy with them. You pay a flat rate per month and you can keep the game as long as you want. He only gets 360 games, but I'm pretty sure you can switch between gaming systems. Hope this helps:)

Although I do miss the joy of Santa, I don't miss the getting up at 6:00am now that both DS's are older (13 and 20). I went to bed at 11:30 and and got up at 8. Then spent the remainder of the day in the kitchen cooking!

I bought my son a skateboard on ebay last year. I can't remember what kind it was (maybe Element) but I got it for a decent price. Also check CCS.com they sometimes have clearance boards.

Just curious because I too ordered that same computer. How far along in the order process did yours make it to. Right now my receipt says processing. I guess I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed!!
