If during the 1 hour time between 10-11pm they sell out of the item and you didnt get it, they will give you a guaranteed card, you have to pay for it before midnight and register it online. They will order it for you and it will be delivered to the store for you to come pick it up. this is how they will do it.

for under $150? your not gonna find a good one with more than 8gb, the kindle fire is the best at what you want and that is $159 before GC but its only 8Gb, now you can get the HD version for under $200 and its 16gb

book nook and kindle you get thousands of books free i usually only buy about 1 book a month on my nook because i have so many that i got for free and usually only spend around $3 for the one book. there is also lots of free apps on both

you dont understand what i said, the blue laws are in effect in some northern states, that says the are not allowed at all to be open on thanksgiving. Employees are not even allowed to be clocked in till 12:01 am which means either they start the sale then or wait till 1 am to give employees time to setup

No Best Buy clears out everyones cart before they start changing prices, so if you put it in your cart they will remove it so they can change the price

I dont think anything of it really, the Brave and Madagcar 3 DVD are $9.99 you can get the Brave combo pack at Walmart for cheaper. this just tells me what i already thought they wont have much of anything cheaper

the nook has a way to stop purchases, there is a setting to require your password to make purchases i think its an on/off setting. also it does require you to have an active CC on your account to make a purchase, so if you dont wanna allow it you can simply remove the credit card info. but the setting has worked for me, my DD has had my old nook for a couple years now and has never been able to make a purchase on it.

my daughter is 12 also, i was thinking about the Nabi but the price is making me lean towards the kindle fire just because there is so much more to do on it than the Nabi will ever have.
