Thought it was about time I introduced myself: I am Darla. I live in a college town (We are.......Marshall!). I am almost 43..Feb. I have two rug rats DD 21, and DS 16 and a 30 year old BF (almost 31) lol, a dog, a cat and a fish tank with three fish I don't want, but can't flush, that I inherited from my DD. I love cats....and television. Been married and divorced, couple times (3). I am a home body, but I do like long drives (aka rides, I hate to drive) and fishing. That sounds like a sorry singles ad for "Lowered Expectations" on MADTV. Help me Jesus!

I agree that folks here are nice. I hope I am one of them. I try to be. I was frequenting another board. The new members took over and were being more mean than helpful. Posting strings of threads of their deals and dissing other folks. I just jumped right in here and have felt very comfy. Think I am going to stay a while.

I got my son one for Christmas. You want one......or not, if you don't want to waste many hours. Fun stuff! Congrats to all who got one of these terrible things..........lol! WII WANT TO PLAY!

I have one of these things I bought my DD waaaay back that I use for Halloween. I thought they would be easy to find. Bought mine at Walmart. Check online....Walmart, Kmart, Sears, Spencers Gifts, and Amazon.com. NONE I can't believe it. Sorry!

Not to mention trying to wrap these things and keep the paper from ripping. I put these things in a box before I wrap them, DD (21) is a snoop. I hate blister wrap. And what the heck do you need nuts and bolts for to hold down a toy. Dishes aren't even packed that well.

A little off topic... We have looked for Toejam & Earl (an old Sega game) for probably 10 years with little success. Even the used ones on Amazon.com were $40. Got my sticky fingers on a Wii too for Christmas........downloadable (not a word) game Toejam & Earl Woo Hoo.........I LOVE THIS SYSTEM!!!

I find myself hovering over my son waiting for him to lay the wii mote down.....lol. I am afraid I am going to lose many days with this thing. I see what all the fuss is about. He was shaking so bad he could hardly get all the paper off when he saw what it was. I loved it. I didn't even tell my daughter I got it for him. Had it almost 2 months and had to keep it quiet. It was not easy. He had NO clue. He thought it was a PS2.

WII Got One! Who else manage to get one of these suckers this year? My son was BLOWN away!

I am with you and trying to spread the word. Charged my bank account 3 times and had to call CS 5 times. Finally got the CRUMMY sweater, and I do mean CRUMMY! (Ordered 11/07, received 12/14 delivered to the wrong address.) I HATE VICTORIA'S SECRET ONLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Will never ever order again!

This is my first gottadeal Christmas. I have really enjoyed it. I was able to find some of the best things....Disney discounts, free Amazon, Best Buy and Dale and Thomas GCs. I even found something for my nephew who has everything. He didn't have a Tony Hawk Helmet cam. Thanks everybody for the great posts and all of the money saving!

(Not bragging, very lucky) I was blessed with the ability to buy things folks really like. I pay attention to what they like or they mention they need throughout the year. It is a wonderful feeling for someone to open a gift I got them and say something like, "I can't believe you remembered I said that." Once in a while I just get a funky look though. Very seldom do I ask for ideas because I hate to be asked. Like most of you, folks just ignore what I say and buy what they want. That's fine, but just get it. You don't need to ask me. :)

I just laid away $100 bucks worth of stuff at Kmart. I have not shopped at Kmart for YEARS!! I HATE Kmart........but they have layaway. That is $100 bucks Wal-Mart won't get from me this year. I even paid $5 to do the layaway (don't forget that). Wal-Mart.....PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING BACK LAYAWAY!!!!!
