  1. I spoke yesterday with a customer service rep from Hasbro and she told me that all of the accessories are interchangeable between the JR, XP and regular VideoNow.
  2. At our house we open up one at a time. But at my inlaws, where approx. 25 people show up on Chrstmas eve, my BIL just starts handing out packages until there are no more left. It becomes this mad frenzy with paper being thrown everywhere, gift receipts lost, people not knowing who gave what gift, etc.
  3. Just ordered the yellow/blue one for my 2 1/2 year old. Didn't have any disks available, so I guess I'm off to WalMart. This was a really great deal. Thanks!!
  4. This house made it into my newpaper today. I think we'll swing by there before the township decides to shut him down. http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/tribune-review/trib/pittsburgh/s_403414.html
  5. Thank you! None of the toys on my kids' lists are on sale on BF so maybe they'll have a deal I can use.
  6. Do You Hear What I Hear Silent Night Carol of the Bells Christmas Shoes - I'll never forget the first time I heard that song - I was driving home from Christmas shopping one night and I had to pull off on the side of the road because i was crying so hard.
  7. I'll never forget my first Thanksgiving dinner at my in-laws 15 years ago. I told them I had to leave early so I could go to sleep. They never heard of BF!!! When I explained it to them, they called me crazy. They didn't understand why I would do such a thing. I still remember my MIL shreiking "why in the world would you stand outside in the cold for 2 hours??' They couldn't believe I had been going out every year since I was little, when my mother used to take me and my siblings out with her. Last year was the first year they went out, and this year they are acting like they've done this for years. Blah. I haven't heard them call me crazy now for the last 2 years. Well, at least about BF, anyway.
  8. We don't make our candy cane pie - we buy ours from Market Day through our son's school.
  9. For Christmas, it's gotta be Candy Cane Pie - everyone in my family fights to get a piece, it's that good!
  10. My 4 year old's teacher wants to have a book exchange during their Christmas party. Any ideas for a really good holiday book we can purchase in the $5-7 range?
  11. My mom used to take me and my siblings every year. The earliest I can remember is 1982. Haven't missed a year yet!
  12. My $10 card says it expires Dec. 31 2005.
  13. In the basement. I stick the gifts in a large, old box that our big TV came in. We have lots of old appliance boxes, etc. that we use to store all of our junk in, so no one thinks of looking in those. Whatever box I have the gifts in, I make sure I stick other boxes on top of it, or in front of it, just so the box looks like it's been in that position for awhile.
  14. I just got a catalog from HearthSong in the mail today that has chocolate ones for $8.95, your choice of two different styles.
