I don't know if black friday is something that can be taught. I will never forget my first one. I thought that I was so prepared and that I would have no problems. Boy was I ever wrong. I think that it is all about experience and finding a system that works for you. I would however, express the importance of team work and sneakers.

It seems to me that in order to have any chance of getting big ticket items you will have to be in line waithing for the store to open at 12:00 and then rush to find the line for the item you want and have to stand there by yourself, because your partners will all be in different lines, for 5 hours. If I am going to wait in line I would rather do it with friends and coffee!! I really hope corporate does some kind of press release laying out the exact details before the event. I am begining to remember whyy we skipped walmart last year.

There is no way that I could due black friday on the subway!!! I have a problem fitting my goods into mine and my husbands suvs. You may be better off online. Or you might be able to find someone to split the cost of a rental with. If you figure it out it may make for a great holiday survival book. You may want to try the Palisades mall. It is not far from the city and has a lot of stores, but you would still have to get all that crap home. i have no idea what the crowds would be like though. Heading to CT and paying a smaller sales tax may offset the price of a rental car if you plan on doing major shopping. You could even just take the train to and from CT. I now have one more excuse not to live in the city!!!! Take that dh.

Don't be afraid to go to a place like sleepy's and negotiate the price! You can often get hundreds of dollars off items in the back room. Try going in the end of the month and even better yet in the end of a quarter. I bought ours on the day before Thanksgiving. I got a king matrees and boxspring with frame for 450.00.

My Sephora coupon is good til the 15th so I am going to hold off for a few more days to see if I get any codes. That way I can use the sephora one for philosophy. I just e-mailed customer service at bare escentuals asking them about the codes. They probbably won't give me any info but I thought it was worth a shot.

Join the B.E. news letter. That is how I have always gotten mine. there is a link on their website. No you cannot use the coupons for qvc. The coupons are usually only good for 24 to 48 hours.

bare escentuals is scheduled for dec 9th and 10th on qvc. I hope they come out with the coupons before that.

there is a pretty good one on hsn that I just bought for my husband that has XP. It is the acer aspire one. They have it on easypay but it is around 500. Well worth the money if you intend to have him use it for any type of school work. I know that the one at tru does not have word.

I think that I am going to like the new CEO of Walmart!!!! Kind of funny that they release the ad on the day they announce a changing of the guards! They really do have a lot of good deals. I have skipped them for the last couple of years and just gone to Target instead but I mayy just change my mind this year.
