BTW I DID LOVE the rewards program and got alot of used games for next to no money that way. I assume they still have the rewards program?

We had gamefly for a year when they first started. At the time I was pretty unhappy about with them. It took forever for them to recieve the games we shipped and then forever more to get the games on our list. Towards the end they added another processing/shipping center but it didn't seem to help in our area. We finally cancelled, we just werent getting our money out of it. I have heard they added more to the inventory and more shipping facilities but we haven' tried them again.. We have netflix and they are SUPER fast so I don't know what the deal was with gamefly exactly...

This made me giggle. Sometimes I wish you could buy them an arm/leg at a time..instead of spending an arm and an leg We have MANY AG dolls and accessories. MIL got her the bitty twins giftset with stroller when she was 5 and it has just gone downhill from there. We could almost OWN Sony and have all the PS3's we wanted So hold on to that boy and be glad for your wallet that he is NOT a girl allshoppedout

I bought it all (except for the skateboard) and I am really considering selling them on Ebay. My kids haven't shown ANY interest in them at all (ages 11,8,6) and I might as well make a few bucks. I am with Angelic..those of you that would pay $50 or more can TOTALLY have mine

So anyone spot a deal for this new game? The bundle is going for 119 shipped on Amazon.com and I am just NOT paying that for it. We have all 3 gaming consoles but would prefer to have it on PS3. ~Thanks

Maybe lower the gift giving AMOUNT. We exchange with one family that doesn't make 1/2 of what we make in a year so we set the gift limit to $5-$10 per person. It is great to still get a small gift and get the joy of exchanging with them without breaking the bank...

I would take a deep breath and realize that gifts are not the reason for Christmas. You sound like a great mom and I think the best gift you could give your boys would be to take this Christmas off. They will understand and they will be grateful that you did not spend money that you could use otherwise. If you feel like you have to do SOMETHING. I'd make/bake their favorite treats and give them a big platter of them or if they are also struggling finacially this year (who isn't?) then a care package with shaving stuff, bathroom essentials, ect would be a nice gift that they'd get alot of use out of AND would help them in the long run by saving money...You could watch walgreens ads and coupons and really pick up these things super cheap and make a big ol' basket full of them (think care packages for soldiers)

They really need to get with the program and offer the use of kohls cash ONLINE. I've sent over $120 in Kohls cash to my mom this year cause I cannot use it!

Mine are compatible on BOTH our Rockband and GH for BOTH PS3 and WII. We have WAY to many guitars sitting around here..I KNOW THAT!! (and TWO sets of drums!!) edited to add we dont' have LEGO yet but I cannot imagine it being any different.

I picked up toy story mania at Target when Wii games were buy 2 get 1 and used the $10 off Wii games coupon with that... I don't EVER pay retail for games so it was hard to even do it that way but I did...its a newer game so watch it in the next few weeks. IT IS IN 3D and comes with 3D glasses. And after riding the ride I'd say its totally worth the full price even !!!

I asked my DS (just turned 6 but mega mature) and my DD (fixin to be 9) They like Mario cart HANDS down and amazingly enough....WII fit...(my DD is very althletic and into being healthy {she's a gymnist/dancer}) I am REALLY excited to give them Toy Story Mania the new game based on the ever popular new ride at DisneyWorld since they made us ride it a zillion times...

We have the backwards compatible one and I have no idea why they aren't making it, I probally would not have bought it otherwise (OK I would have) We got it the first year it came out when it was even more expensive and I do not regret it. It is ALSO a bluray player...that was the kicker for us and we use it as one ALOT. I limit my kids gametime and I still think the PS3 was worth EVERY penny. I say combine his bday and christmas gifts and get it for him (let him rent the game maybe?) Ask grandparents and anyone else that might buy for him to get him rental giftcards or walmart giftcards (so he can buy games) My mom actually paid for my DS11 a full year of Gamefly last year and it was OK but we cancelled when his paid year was up.. I coordinate my wrap and everything matches. I get the good stuff at Hobby Lobby. They have tons of different styles and they all have coordinating patterns to mix and match. I bought DT paper once and I had to double wrap cause I could see threw it..maybe I just got a bad batch?

My walmart went 90% off an Saturday..It had to be overridden at the checkout which was a PITA cause I had 2 1/2 baskets full. BUT they rang up 50% and then they overrode the 90% ON TOP OF THAT so I got things 95% OFF!! Lucky me! I got over 30 costumes! I went back yesterday and they had the cash registers fixed and things were just scanning 90% I got lots of those toystory buckets as party favors for my DS's bday..they don't have anything halloween on them!!
