This would have been my answer. That way everyone is taken care of. Otherwise I would just opt out of gifts that year, but maybe still slide each child some money. I know its cheating but hey their daddy's girls.

I never was able to do the breakfast thing. I usually am to tried and unload my car the next day.

My bank use to do this years ago but stopped. I use to get about 200 in gift cards every year.

This made the news in my area. Stores have ordered extra inventory and ordered a month early to try and have stock but I think there will be a run on the stores as well. I think I will get my meats early. I usually don't like my ham frozen but I cant be picky this year. So please plan ahead or you will find yourself paying 100 for a turkey.

It is about 24 family members. With so many nieces and nephews my siblings have opted to just focus on the kids and not buy each other gifts as it can be so much. I have 11 nieces and nephews and 2 god children. 2 are in college now. Then I have my parents, in laws and that side of the family. I really enjoy Christmas so it is fun for me. I usually buy something for someone once a week that way it is not a big hit and use BF to get bulk stuff for my immediate family and others if there is a good deal.

I went and got my dry goods and baking supplies this past weekend. Now I will be searching for the meats and sides closer to thanksgiving. We have local farms in my area where I can prepay for greens, sweet potato's, corn, etc. I have never really used there service but have shopped at their stands so I hoping this can guarantee me the items I need but not sure it it will be "what I want".

I like that the stores are closed on Thanksgiving. It reminds me of the old days when you only got the deal if you were willing to stand in line all night or get up extra early in the morning. That thrill of the hunt and expectation after spending the day with family is amazing. I refused to leave family dinner and time to get in a line or get some material item. If it was there when I got there than good if not I will pay what I have to.

That is my plan. It sit there and look pretty in the corner until I throw a hammer at the other one.

I wasn't sure what angle to take this year but I like that one. I was pushing more towards...Ho Ho Ho Merry Click-mas but it just didn't sit right with me

Yes it comes out about a month before thanksgiving and the coupons are good up until the day before thanksgiving.

Don't be to patient this year as the selection and quantities will be limited

If we are going to do them I hope it is early enough to give a little leeway with the slow postal delivery.

I bought two little things yesterday. Nothing expensive but it was a great deal and a universal gift for whomever Santa decides to give it too.

I had not paid must attention to that side of it. Well I guess I will be going to the grocery store sooner than I thought for my necessities.

I have never been one to buy the newest phone. My motto is if it works, I will just keep using it. But with the rebates or discounts for the new iphone I am really considering trading in to get the latest version. The difference will be about 2-300 dollars and in the long run it will pay for itself.

One of my nephews is into lego now. We have a store in the mall but they are bought out all the time

I agree 100%. You cant wait and I think the scalpers are going to be horrible this year. If it is a must have you need to buy it ASAP.

No set budget as I am not sure what I need to buy. I will not wait until BF this year as I think most of the sales will be staggered but will still do some shopping on BF just because I LOVE BF.
