-
who do you have for insurance, we have gieco and we added it on to our policy, it is good coverage and it didn't add very much to our premium, I am thinking like 7-12 bucks a vechicle
-

i am looking for bikes for my kids this year too, last year kmart had 20" bikes for around $20.00 on thanksgiving day (you have to buy the kit and put the training wheels on yourself), and in years past walmart had bikes but I don't recall seeing them last year.
-
I am using up my MyPoints to buy giftcards to use on BF........ordering them from stores that I know I will go to in small amounts, that way all my eggs are not in one basket and I get free shopping money
-
I have dreams every year as it gets closer, always the same, waking up late, getting to the store and it is already open........
-
last year FYE had them on BF can't remember the price but it should be in the archives
-
favorite time of year
freezing lines but full of cheer
bargins to be found
-
well our walmarts $10.00 toy display was pitiful, couple of barbies, some talking birds and one truck, nothing to get excited over
-
I know for many years my cousin would come over and stay with my kids (she was like in 6th grade), they would be asleep most of the time and we always made sure to get back by 8 or 9 when they were getting up, we didn't get to spend alot of time out but at least we got the toys we needed for them and then sometimes we would go back out with them
-
it really depends on the kid, if yours is not the fussy type ie......mommy i'm cold, mommy i'm tired, can we go home now.........the whole time that you are in line making you and everyone around you misserable, then go for it, if not then beg, borrow or steal a babysitter even if it is a middle school girl or something.......
-
wonder if any of the toys are online now, the fairy barbie seems susspicioulsy (sp) like the one that is always $5 on BF, same with the hotwheels sets......
-
Do not sell items that are in the ad before the sale......last year our sears did this and they where out of doorbuster items before they even opened that morning, very frustrating and disapointing...........
-
zoe goes through the big toy book and circles the things she wants, sends a letter to santa with her "order" (that's what she has called it for 2 years now) so we get her some things off her list...this year she is getting chitty chitty bang bang tickets though..she doesn't even know it is coming!! it is her favorite movie and it is part of our local broadway series..so she will probably get a fancy dress to go with them.
sorry to get off topic, but everytime I see your name I think about saying something.....I am Zoie Maire's mama too..........thought that was a coincidence since this is the first time I have seen someone else named exactly that (other than spelling of course)
-
my inlaws are pretty much the same way, in fact the other grandkids get christmas gifts, but mine don't cause they know we will "take care" of it........I have gotten to the point that I buy one small item for my inlaws and thier children and that is it..........

I contacted three local newspapers via email:

Kentucky New Era [email protected]
Paducah Sun [email protected]
Here is what I said:
While it is still early the hottest black Friday site on the web is open for business and the discussions are already going strong. Consumers can visit
http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com to track the early ad releasees and discuss shopping strategies with other Black Friday enthusiasts. There is also an area on this site that posts early predictions for this years ads which can be accessed at http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/BlackFridayPredictions. With the current strain on the economy this Black Friday is expected to be bigger than ever. If you would like to contact the site moderators for a story you can reach them through the following link: http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/MediaRoom. Also the site is open year round for frugal consumers to visit at http://www.gottadeal.com

last year walgreens and cvs both had telescopes and microscope sets on sale bf, as for ben 10, they sell the stuff at walmart and places like that my ds has never really been into it so i am not sure about it going on sale.

my kids make keychains/ornaments. Get some beads (dollar store/craft store/walmart) string them together w/ a keychain... can hang on a tree or be used for keys... easy, not messy...
this would be a cute idea for something to put in the box thanx! Everyone can feel free to disscuss homemade gift ideas in general in this thread, not just ideas for me, sorry did not make that clear in the begining.
