i used to hand off the kids the Wish Book and different colored markers and have it, just like when I was a kid too. But now they are older and they write down what they want and then cross out and add to the list

My children have been part of the children program / play and this is important to us. We read from the Bible about the birth of Jesus, letting the children take turns reading as well. We have been doing this on Christmas eve for the past 4 years. I have a good friend that tells her boys they can only have THREE gifts as the Wisemen only brought Jesus THREE gifts.

I normally do about 15-20, but now they are older and their wants are more expensive. I told them narrow their list down to five items this year. They have a list of about 10 and they keep changing but they will still end up with prob about 10-12 from us. I have several stocking stuffers only that I "won" playing online games and such.

My DH has a trackfone and his battery life isn't the greatest - but for what he used it for its just fine. I got DD (13) one for her birthday in Sept with referals and stuff she had 240 minutes on set up. She still has 1/2 of her minutes left to use by 12/21 or for me to get a new minutes which is on her Xmas list I may just get a 30 minute card and give it to her early then get other minutes for her stocking. She loves her phone! We have not set her voice mail up yet...
