I guess i won't be waiting on line for tv's this year...what a crappy lineup

Last year they tried to do the small groups at a time and that failed. The crowd overtook the employee's and before you knew it EVERYONE was int he store. I was 3rd on line so I was in with no problem, and about 5 min later all you see is people bum rushing the door trying to get in. Some people fell, others were making bee lines to the tv section trying to get the ticketed items with no tickets. It was actually pretty funny.

I plan on having a tent and a sleeping bag. I plan on being one of the first on line so, I plan on sleeping for a good part, i also have work that day.

Same here, but I plan on doing a late shift. I'll probably be getting home around 7am, and there is no way I'll be able to function if I have to open. Unless I fall asleep online and sleep a good 5-6 hours.

Last year it rained and I should of been a bit more prepared. I'm thinking this year going all out, tent, laptop, power converter from car,ect ect.. What are you guys doing?

It knows how to use the memory a LOT better then XP, so even though it's a memory hog it manages it a LOT better. It's really not that bad.

I popped my cherry last year at bb. It was actually pretty fun, the people on line are all pretty cool. Through the night you build trust and people were more then happy to hold your place inline while you went to the bathroom or got some food. I don't know where you're from but prepare for the weather. I did it somewhat last year, but I could of done a better job. It was raining and cold..and I dressed up pretty warm and had a rain poncho but I still got wet. This year regardless I'm bringing a small tent unless the weather is for no rain and 60-70* in temps.

I think I'm going for one this year, I'm actually on the fence with either a DLP or a Projector. Last year I got the 32in Westy and I love it, I just need something bigger for movies. I'm hoping bestbuy is the place to be this year.

It's wrong for a few reasons. There are people online that actually want the product for themselves. If some douche takes all tickets that he just plans on reselling them it takes away from the whole waiting online.It's just not fair... It's the same people who bought ps3's when it first launched to just sell them on ebay for a crazy price. Ya it's capitalism but your causing inflation because your using low stock for your advantage. I know I'm probably hypocritical but I dunno.. I say those who wait on line get what they need, and that's it. If you really plan on reselling the tickets to someone in the back, then honestly, your ruining the fun. Last BF i person came up to me that was about 50 spots behind me. I was 3rd on line and they told me, they really wanted the 50in toshiba and that they were worried they wouldn't get it because they were so far behind. So I grabbed a ticket for them no charge. It ended up with them getting the TV anyway..so i had a spare ticket. On the way out there was a line for the TV section, so i asked a few customers what they were in line for intill one of them said the 50in toshiba. First person that said it, I told them, Merry Christmas and I gave them the ticket. Made me feel pretty good.
