I didnt think what they had was crap. I thought last couple years have been not too bad compared to years before. Last year I got the printer(should have gotten 2) sewing machine, dvds, one of the vacuums & a bunch of other stuff. Was really happy last year with getting the extra 10% off. :)

Well it has been reported on tv that retailers are overstocked this year with merchandise cause they thought the economy was gonna be much better. So now they have to get rid of all this extra & have said to expect some awesome deals this holiday season. What I find interesting is Target doing these extra things with savings this year on merchandise plus adding more doorbusters.

I know the feeling, when I got into the store last year there were no carts left. Good luck trying to find someone to help you locate an item. If you do find someone for help, good luck getting that item your after.

I will never step foot in Menards on BF. I went last year & that was enough for me. IMO they are worse then Walmart! That store is so disorganized for BF & then you have just a few areas to stand in line & you wait for ever & ever! I had a heck of a time finding the bargains cause the way they have things so scattered all over the place & with all the people. I don't care what great bargains they have this year, they can keep em!

Ah whenever I had put something on layaway, I always had a date that I had to pick up otherwise I lost the layaway.

I'm sorry but this is getting just a tad bit ridiculous having these stores open so early for BF. There is no need to open this early. Like someone else said, it's gonna get to the point where it wont be BF anymore it will be BT.

I loved how they handled things last year. I was able to get everything I wanted in my shopping cart early & didnt have to fight a group of crazies like years past over stuff. I hope they do it again this year.

From what I heard the bargains this year are gonna be awesome. Stores are overstocked on stuff & need to get rid of it so you should see great deals this year. I hear there will be some great deals on LCD tvs. I am excited :)

Oh that would suck having them in a cart & having to go through them. I hate it when they have the cheap DVDs in the big bins. Heck of a time looking through them.

This is good to hear. I actually loved the way they did things this year. Was so nice not having to fight a group of people to get each thing. I hope they do this again next year. Granted you have to be there earlier to get some of the stuff but I think it is worth it. :)

At our store the games were in with the DVDs. I went back to Walmart around 5 & they still have a bunch.

Our Walmart was great with the new system. I was there little after 3, put all the items I wanted into a cart & waited for 5. I was out of the store at 5:19. I really liked the way they did things this year. It was well organized at our store. Was nice to get your stuff without having to fight other people. I hope they do it again next year. Given how early we got done at Walmart was able to do Menards this year. Although it was crzy standing in line waiting. LOL

If you have a Dollar Tree try getting the paper there. They are gonna be opened on Thanksgiving. I go there for my Sunday paper & only pay 1.00!

I saw nothing in BB's ad to cause me to line up this early. That is just nuts...

When does Walmart usually post the ad on there site?

I have a few other sites I go too that I know are safe. I also google & have it set up where it shows what sites are safe to go too & which are not.

Oh wow I did not know you could do that. Our store has never had maps that I can recall.

It would have to be a significant amount cheaper for me to shop at Amazon. I have Walmart gift cards plus hubby's 10% discount this year. :)

Ok so which is it- lines for everything or just for the hot items(electronics, tvs etc). I keep seeing this going back & forth. Driving me crazy cause there is more then 1 thing that I want.
