  1. Went with the fam this morning...very dissappointed!! Not much on sale that my kids would've enjoyed...actually, NOTHING they would've enjoyed. We did, however, buy some toys for the Toys For Tots drive. (and nothing that was "on sale")

    Lots of hype for nothing!!

  2. Just walked over to ours and they had signs out, but there wasn't much left. Was hoping to snag the fireman costume for my son, but they no longer had his size. :(

Lots of stuff for girls, though!

And their Halloween tees, hats and bibs were 50% off. They had a l/s tee for $1.70.

  3. One good thing I love about the wooden Thomas stuff is the lifetime warrenty they have on them, no questions asked. I picked up a store display playset when KB Toys was going out of buisness. I paid $10 for it and It had tons of track and buildings but I had to pull them off the board it was on. I broke a bunch of track because of the glue and nails they used and the buildings where missing pieces. I boxed up all the bad/broken stuff and sent it back to the company. They sent me a box with all brand new buildings and track in it and I didn't pay a dime other than the small shipping charge to send it to them.

Not sure they do this anymore....I read last year that a different company had taken over the Thomas line, and no longer has a lifetime warranty. I have a water tower I'd LOVE to send back, but from what I read, they wouldn't take it back.

HOWEVER, hubby really wants a Geotrax set for the kids (and himself I imagine!). We currently have a train table and tons of Thomas trains for it (along with some other trains), and some of the take-along sets. The take-along Thomas train tracks are difficult for kids to put together. I have to build their tracks all the time b/c they get so frustrated with them. Our wooden track gets more use than the take-alongs do. It's not a thomas brand table, I think it's Imagianarium, but it's wonderful! (and it was cheaper!)

But after reading all of this, we'll be on the lookout for great geotrax deals!

  4. Our Target is TERRIBLE for returns. My GS received duplicate DVD's. He had the receipt and it had not been opened. He wanted to exchange it for another one he didn't have and they refused because it had a small tear in the corner of the shrink wrap. When we looked at the same DVD on the shelf, they ALL had the same small tear in the corner.

We did contact customer service. What a bad experience for an 8 yo, who simply wanted a different DVD.

Oh wow! See....I hate seeing things like this happen. Especially when it involves children.

You'd think a small tear could be seen that it's just a tear and didn't affect the entire shrink-wrap...like you could see that it hadn't been opened and viewed.

I've never had any problems returning anything to them. They normally just ask why I'm returning the product and refund my money.

Hopefully customer service was able to fix it for your GS!

  5. We have one near us...while I LOVE their sports bras, I find them cheaper at other stores. The outlets don't have a wide selection, and unless you catch a good sale - which is rare there - the prices are way to high for an "outlet."

www.underarmor.com is the website for the brand. Not sure if there's a specific one for the outlets.
