  1. Last year, I went to Walmart to PM the BB Itunes GC and it totally backfired. When my son tried to enter one, it didn't work. We took them back to WM and they said that they should not have been sold that way. When they adjusted the price it did not activate the Itunes GC. We barely got our money back for the worthless cards. I would not try to PM these at WM.

I recently talked to an employee at Target who said he had seen the BF ad. He said you could earn a $10 GC for the $100 or more purchase on top of other GC with product purchases. I believed him about that, but he also said that Target would offer a GC with the purchase of a PS3 which I do not see in the ad. I thought he may have seen the XBox ad and thought it was a PS3.

  2. I was in our TRU just the other day, and they had only a few IPODS in stock. I will probably check back Wednesday to see if they have restocked. Does the TRU offer say $50 gift card with any IPOD? My son thinks he wants an IPOD touch which is pictured in the ad. But, the wording says any IPOD.
  3. Do they at least cover the shipping?

Yes, they do pay for the shipping. I had two options. One was called the express method which we are doing. They are shipping us the drum kit, and we are to put our non-working kit in the box and return it. This method requires the use of a credit card so that they can charge us if they do not get the non-working item back. I have done this before with Nintendo and it worked out. I only hope this works as well. We are supposed to receive it in five business days.

The other option was to let them ship me an empty box for us to send our non-working drum kit back to them. Once they received it, then they would send us the working one. This method apparently takes two weeks longer but there is no need for a credit card.

I prefer the first method so that I can see what they send us to know what to return to them. There are other parts, and I wasn't sure what to include.

  4. I got one of these when Circuit City had them on sale for $23.99. I got it price matched at Sears and they gave me an extra 10 percent off of that. I think my total was about $23 with tax. I will probably keep it. Not worth the time and effort and gas to return it. Thanks for letting us know though. I totally missed that in my Kmart ad on Sunday.
  5. I was in Target tonight and a couple in front of me was buying Narnia. I gave them one of my $3 off coupons. It scanned correctly, unlike my experience at Circuit City. They were happy and thanked me. I was just glad to spread a little savings around. I am glad to know too that Target's system recognizes it for later.
  6. I printed the coupon and took it to Circuit City yesterday. The coupon did not scan correctly. Typing it in didn't help either. But, they happily took off the $3 coupon from the price of the dvd making it $11.99. I left happy, but concerned if I want to use another coupon. It says you are allowed to use the coupon up to 10 times I believe.
  7. It has been said on here that it is hoped that they figure out who did this and charge them accordingly. The problem with this is the people in the front are not totally to blame. Have you ever been at the front of a crowd of people who are all wanting to push forward? I experienced something like that at a concert when I was in college. The people in the front do not control what the crowd does. There have been instances where people have died in similar situations. I hope that Walmart has learned another valuable lesson. Crowds need to be controlled. This was a senseless tragedy.

I thought to, perhaps there are not enough Walmarts in that area to serve the people. We have two, one about 5 minutes from my house and one about 7 minutes from my house. I went into one around 6:30 a.m. Friday to price match something at Best Buy and got in and out quickly.

  8. This was the first year I tried the price adjusting. I had no problems, walked up, gave the gal my receipt and told her I had 3 items to price adjust, she did her thing and I walked away happy! Worked like a charm!

Me too. The employee was really surprised to see how much I saved too. I can't believe I stood in line for more than one hour last year to be first in the store.
