Got Madden 13 PS3 game for my boys, Disney earrings for my 3 nieces, and LOTR trilogy for my husband. Hoping to get NCAA PS3 too.

Has anyone seen if there will be an iPad deal on Amazon? I have a friend looking for one.

  2. Well, I actually got it. mom2monkiesx3 was right. Join waitlist if you can. You have to be quick like she said. Only three minutes to get it.

I am #54 (Poor chance) for the blue ipod touch 5th generation. Likely will not get it. Only 39 minutes remaining. I clicked on the buttons as fast as I could. They must not have had that many available.

  3. More people show up.

My daughter and I went for one game. We were there early like I was last year. Last year was crowded, but everything went fine. I didn't feel pushed around. This time we were pushed hard, close to being trampled. I had to step up onto the pallet or risk falling down. The cardboard box where the games were was crushed and torn. As we were leaving the parking lot I noticed the entire lot was full and people were walking from other businesses in the area to and from the store.

We got the game, but it was not worth it. There will be one or two less people at Walmart next year to buy their games. And to top it off, Amazon sold the same game while we were there for a few dollars less.

I will get over it. I have had a great day otherwise. Shopping online has gone really well for me.

  4. I spent all day cooking, then eating and spending time with my family. But, after that, I headed out to CVS. Wow, I got almost everything in the ad. I had never had time to participate before, but really glad I did this year. I had to go to three CVS stores to complete everything, but pretty close together. The store where I got most of my things was really slow. The male cashier was so nice and let me check out in multiple transactions using two different cards. Bless him!

Now off to Walmart for some fun. Bought most of the things I need online, but would like to see what is going on at Walmart then to Target.

  5. My experience with the iTunes GC:

I ordered the digital code version and then somehow ordered one that is an actual physical card. I canceled the digital order thinking I would rather place another order for a physical one. By the time I tried to order another one, the deal had ended. My order for the physical card says shipped. I even have a tracking number. But, the order still says in process.

  6. Well, at my Walmart there were problems. I had a map and found a place where the line for the laptop was supposed to start. I was first in line at 10 p.m. where I thought the line should start. It was not marked with the balloons or any signage. I good size group of people quickly formed. The Walmart employee showed up and acknowledged we were in the right spot. She was told she could hand out the wrist bands and then we could either go get in line for another item, or shop until our item was ready at 5 a.m. I got my wristband about 1030 p.m. and then proceeded to shop around. I later learned that we may have received our wrist bands too early and may have to give them back. I later learned that an angry crowd had formed where the line was. They were angry that the wrist bands were given out early and the line was not clearly marked. I came across this group at the back of the store waiting on a manager to take care of them. These people were sold a different laptop for the same price. They also got to leave the store with their item.

I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I was happy I got my laptop, but was angry they got to buy theirs and leave. They definately would not have received a laptop at the price in the ad if the wristbands and line had been handled properly. They could have avoided this if they had the lines better marked and been better prepared. I thought Walmart was the expert in organization.
