Last year was the first time I was really angry at shoppers at walmart. We were all standing around waiting for the black plastic to be cut off the little boy jeans and 2 women were standing there and when the walmart worker wasnt looking they were reaching in and making a pile of jeans. Then when it was time, they just grabbed their "pile" and ran. Low and behold their "pile" was the same size i needed and they took them all. I wanted to chase them down!! lol. My husband also went with me for the first time and sneaky me sent him to stand by electronics for a portable dvd player. He has already told me that he will not be going shopping with me this year :-( I love Black Friday and I love GottaDeal.com for making it such a better experience!

i am going to have to go check out sears.com and see what they have. And here i thought I was doing good to start my back to school shopping a month early.

How often doyou get these coupons? I am signed up but i dont shop there too often so i havent really paid attention. But, we just found a living room set we are planning to buy in a couple weeks and a 20% coupon would be great.

For my son's preschool class last year, the teachers asked instead of gifts for them, to purchase something for the classroom. They had a paper tree that hung on the wall with pictures of things they wanted for the classroom as the ornaments and they you just pulled an ornament and stuck it in an envolope with the money and then they ordered it. YOu could also purchase your own item or give a donation for a sand table they were buying. It worked out very well.

One year we made cute little note cubes and this year we are making an event calendar. Last year we made the sitter a cute paint can that we made look like a hershey Kiss and filled it with kisses. She LOVED it and it was so easy.

I got one too in Indiana. I am pretty excited.

A friend and I try to hit TRU since we both have young kids and one of us gets a cart and goes and stands in the check out line and the other shops and then we switch places and by the time we are both done, we are usually close to the check out. Works great. And luckily, we have never had any rude people when we were there.

Does anyone have a limit on the number of times or amount you can use your debit card in 1 day? I think our bank does this as a security measure but that could cause some major issues come BF.....

Ours is closing and BIL was there last weekend and said it was a MESS! Clothes all over the floor and everything. Not sure if we will venture in when we are in Kokomo or not.

Make a plan the night before, shop with a buddy, it is best not to bring small children because people tend to get a little too crazy. Have an idea of exactly what you are looking for and where it might be located in the store. Get a good night sleep the night before and eat a good breakfast so you are ready to go.

I am going to a crop on Oct 25 and I plan on making my cards that day and then once i am settled into our new house (we move Oct 27) I will think about addressing the envelopes and I will send them out beginning of December (as soon as we get out family picture taken to put in them)

I pay mine online too and i have not had a problem. I have the card that earns me % back no mater where i use it (obviously the % is bigger if it used at BB)

I wonder which games will be on sale. I am not sure if i will be able to get up at 3 am my time to see the first deal. Wow. This one will be fun to check out.

This will be my first BF that we have not been on vacation in ages so I will probably be in Valparaiso and Merrillville Indiana. They are an hour behind be so I don't have to be up as early :-)

I would say grab it now if you can. They will be hard to find again. Just like the Wii fit. They are very hard to find but we happened to get lucky this past weekend and Walmart had 2 and by the time we got there, we got the last one. I really like the WII because our whole family can play it together. My 5 year old son LOVES Mario Kart and Sonic and Mario at the Olympics.

I understand that stores have to have more strict return policies but I am terrible about keeping my receipts. So stores that let me return with out a receipt get an A+ from me.

Hello Everyone! My name is Michelle and I have been married to Brian for 9 years this October and we have 2 children, Hunter (5) and Olivia (2) and we also have Leo (5 year old yellow Lab). We live in Indiana. I have been a member for almost a year but lurked for a bit before that.
